Chapter 1010
Chapter 1010
Dressrosa.
Ever since defeating the Unicorn Pirate Group and killing its captain, Unicorn Ophi, the Xipilian Kingdom and its surrounding territories had completely lost all resistance. Even the former territories of the Unicorn Pirate Group were swiftly annexed by Dressrosa.
Dressrosa now found itself in a frenzy of activity. Large military forces were deployed across these regions to maintain stability, while every member of Dressrosa’s Justice Corps scattered to spread the Justice Faith.
The Justice Corps was a newly formed organization in Dressrosa, composed of individuals who embraced the Justice Faith—a belief system that had recently emerged. Personally established by King David, it served as a dedicated tool to convert others to this ideology.
Within the Justice Corps, David held the position of corps commander. The identities of its two deputies, however, remained shrouded in mystery. Yet, for those who believed in the Justice Faith, names hardly mattered—only the faith itself held true significance.
With this system in place, newly conquered islands and territories integrated into Dressrosa at an astonishing speed. Combined with Dressrosa’s unique policy of joint development, conquered kingdoms and islands quickly accepted their new identities, considering themselves proud members of Dressrosa.
The scars of war seemed invisible here; the entire region radiated an aura of “love and passion.”
At this moment, however, a lone figure stealthily approached a shallow beach near Dressrosa.
Wang Long, clutching a stone pillar, gazed at the bustling scene before him and murmured, “So this is Dressrosa?”
After being defeated by Kas, Wang Long had fled. Yet his escape left him adrift in deep confusion.
The Collective Grand Momentum he had witnessed shook his confidence in his own path. With Ophi dead, he also lost any chance of returning to the Unicorn Pirate Group.
Still, after witnessing Kas’s Collective Grand Momentum, he no longer desired to go back.
During this time, he revisited the island where he had first encountered Kas, and traveled to other islands. Everywhere, he saw the Justice Corps spreading the Justice Faith, and a few phrases struck him deeply.
One phrase in particular resonated: “Never underestimate small things—they gain immense power when united.” This line made Wang Long think of Kas, and of his words about those with “courage.”
Then, he forcibly seized a book titled Justice Faith from a Justice Corps member. After reading it, he was stunned into declaring it divine!
This book, with its profound principles, embodied true “Momentum.” The person who authored it must be a master of Momentum at its highest form. The more he read, the more he couldn’t put it down, and the more he revered its wisdom.
Thus, he journeyed to Dressrosa, the faith’s birthplace, eager to witness firsthand what this nation—home to such a book—was truly like.
Yet upon arrival, nothing struck him as particularly extraordinary. The people simply seemed to radiate vitality, smiling warmly and moving with purpose. Beyond that, he noticed nothing unusual.
“I’ll settle somewhere first and observe carefully,” he muttered inwardly, preparing to step into the crowd.
Suddenly, he froze, his gaze snapping toward a distant direction. Not far away, a familiar figure stood. Clad in Wano Country’s traditional attire, with broad shoulder sleeves and a metal forearm guard on his right arm, the man’s outfit bore three compact gun turrets. His expression was one of fury.
“Liusheng?” Wang Long gasped in shock.
The figure also spotted Wang Long and recoiled, instinctively shifting into a combat stance.
Could this guy… be here for revenge?
This thought struck not only Wang Long, but also Liu Sheng Shi Hu himself!
Upon seeing Wang Long, Liu Sheng Shi Hu immediately assumed he was here to avenge Ophi, their former captain.
But such a thing would never be allowed!
Just as Wang Long felt a reverent awe toward Dressrosa, Liu Sheng Shi Hu felt the same. After parting ways with Wilbur, he had been consumed by rage.
The words Wilbur spoke had finally clarified the long-standing Wano Country incident that had gnawed at him for years.
It was Oden who had wronged them, who had doubted their loyalty—not the other way around. Despite everything, they had still followed Oden’s orders.
But the debt of gratitude to their former lord had already been repaid. Now, it was time to seek his own path!
Wilbur’s words had shown him there were others like him—no, people who had walked even further ahead.
They must already understand the truths of this world, ready to answer his questions and guide his way forward!
Dressrosa! It was here, in Dressrosa!
And for this reason, he could not let Wang Long destroy all this!
The moment their eyes met, both launched into battle.
Liu Sheng Shi Hu raised his arm. The three compact turrets on his forearm gunned their triggers, unleashing a hail of bullets.
Wang Long, meanwhile, exploded forward, charging directly at Liu Sheng Shi Hu. With a mighty swing of his stone pillar, he generated a shockwave that deflected the bullets mid-air. He charged through the storm of lead and brought his pillar crashing down.
Boom!
Liu Sheng Shi Hu countered with a punch from his armored gauntlet. The force of the impact collided with the stone pillar, producing a thunderous clap. Liu Sheng Shi Hu staggered backward several steps, locking eyes with the now-still Wang Long.
“What are you doing here?” he growled.
Wang Long tightened his grip on his pillar, taking a battle stance. “That’s what I should be asking you, Liusheng. What brings you here?”
“I have my own reasons,” Liu Sheng Shi Hu narrowed his eyes, his furious expression twisting into a grin.
His emotions and expressions were always inverted—anger when he felt joy, joy when he felt anger.
Wang Long knew this well but didn’t care. What mattered was that this guy had attacked first. Clearly, he was here to avenge Ophi.
Likewise, Liu Sheng Shi Hu held the same suspicion.
If Wang Long weren’t here for revenge, why attack first?
“I’ll stop your plans!” Wang Long roared.
“Great! I’ll stop yours too!” Liu Sheng Shi Hu cracked his knuckles, baring his teeth. “Come to think of it, back when we were on the ship, I always wondered who was stronger between us. Now’s the perfect time to find out!”
In strength, both rivaled Ophi himself. Among the other three officers, they were considered polar opposites—often called Ophi’s twin pillars of power.
Yet no one had ever seen them fight to their fullest.
But now, on this holy ground—
This place must never be destroyed!
The two men inhaled sharply. One tightened his grip on the stone pillar, the other raised his fist, and the clash was about to begin.
