"First, add Butterfly Dagger - Echo to my hand", Youxuan said. "Now, the Royal Magic Library has three magic counters.
This card can draw a card from the deck by removing three of its counters. So, I'll remove all the counters from the library and draw a card."
Youxuan: "Next, equip Butterfly Dagger - Echo to Iron Knight Kiya!"

I equip Butterfly Dagger to Iron Knight Kiya Fried, boosting his attack by 300 points."

"Then, the effect of Iron Knight Kiya: If this card is equipped with an equip card, the equip card is immediately destroyed."
As soon as the dagger landed in the knight's hand, it exploded into a burst of golden fragments and vanished from the field.
"Another effect of Butterfly Dagger: When the equipped monster destroys this card, it returns directly to the owner's hand."
Youxuan waved the equip card, which returned to his hand.
"Then, Butterfly Dagger - Echo activates again!"
Now, Yeshen understood.
It was an infinite loop!
Each time Butterfly Dagger activated, the Royal Magic Library gained a magic counter. Then, due to Iron Knight Kiya's effect, Butterfly Dagger would be destroyed immediately upon equipping, and because of its own effect, it would return to the hand.
This way, Butterfly Dagger could activate infinitely, accumulating countless magic counters for the Royal Magic Library. And since the library could draw a card by removing three counters, it would effectively allow drawing an infinite number of cards.
Infinite hand size meant infinite possibilities. Though the three of them, including Yeshen, considered themselves invincible and fearless against any opponent, that was only true if both sides had equal resources.
Even Yeshen's defenses weren't absolutely invincible. And even if they were, a Duelist with infinite resources could find a way to bypass them and defeat him.
"Nice work, Youxuan, you've set up the infinite loop so quickly!" Jou praised.
You Bei couldn't help but say, "Your friend's Duel... well."
She wanted to make a sharp comment, but after racking her brain, she couldn't come up with a single positive word. Considering her relationship with Jou and the fact that she couldn't beat him, she decided to keep quiet.
"Trying to counter a god with an infinite loop, huh?" Yeshen said coldly. "It's a good idea, but we'll see if it works.
Activate the face-down card, Trap Card 'Cunning Pitfall'!"
Yeshen's face-down card flipped open, creating a massive pit on Youxuan's field!
"Cunning Pitfall can only be activated if there are no Trap Cards in my Graveyard", Yeshen explained. "Since my Graveyard has no Trap Cards, its effect can activate!
Destroy any two monsters on the opponent's field!"
Kaiba said, "I see, you're destroying the key components to break the loop."
Yeshen continued, "The loop relies on the effects of these two monsters, so I'll eliminate them both.
Destroy 'Iron Knight Kiya Fried' and 'Royal Magic Library'!"
The massive pit seemed to generate a terrifying suction force, visible as a white, transparent vortex. It was as if an invisible giant hand captured both the Iron Knight and the Royal Magic Library, dragging them violently into the pit.
Two loud explosions echoed, and a cloud of black smoke and dust rose from the pit. When the smoke cleared, the pit and the two monsters were gone.
"Ah, what a shame", Jou said regretfully.
If the loop had succeeded, it might have ended the Duel right there. He had no doubt that if Youxuan drew his entire deck, the other two Yeshens wouldn't have a chance to summon.
Hai Ma said lightly, "So this has turned to our disadvantage, huh."
Indeed. Youxuan failed to draw a card through the Loop, and instead, all the monsters on the field were cleared. The Butterfly Dagger's effect had already been negated by the Iron Knight, and with its target destroyed, it naturally returned to the Graveyard. Since the condition of "this card being destroyed while equipped to a monster" was not met, it couldn't return to Youxuan's hand through its own effect.
Youxuan said, "Then I'll set two cards and end my turn."
At that moment, the shadow of the Eraser behind Yeshen said, "He's indeed a dangerous kid. On his first turn, he locked down magic and traps, and on his second turn, he attempted an infinite Loop."

Upon hearing these words, Jou and Hai Ma couldn't help but change their expressions slightly.

Hai Ma frowned. "This guy can summon a god in a single turn?"
Could this be the power of Yeshen himself?
"I activate the Magic Card 'Altar of the Fallen Angel.'"
Yeshen revealed the same magic card he used last turn, smiling.
"Last turn, the Magic Card that 'Fallen Angel Ixithab' copied effects from was shuffled back into the Deck after the effect was used. So, I just drew it again right after shuffling it back."
