Chapter 100: Overlord Lifting the Cauldron!
Chapter 100: Overlord Lifting the Cauldron! (Monthly Ticket)
“Haa… haa…”
The Obsidian Horn Boar staggered, its vision spinning. It shook its head violently, wincing at the searing pain slicing through its scalp, then let loose a deafening roar.
“Boom!”
Its bloodshot eyes locked onto Lin Qi. Iron-hard hooves slammed into the ground, kicking up a storm of dust as it charged like an armored vehicle.
Blistering speed—no time to react.
Lin Qi clenched his teeth, channeling power into his legs. Calculating the beast’s speed and distance, he waited… then exploded into motion. His body arced like an ancient war general charging, legs coiling like springs before launching him skyward.
Arching his back, his tendons snapped taut like steel cables. In that split second, he unleashed everything.
Spear raised overhead, he descended like a king lifting a cauldron, aiming straight for the boar’s cervical vertebrae.

The Obsidian Horn Boar closed the distance, its massive shadow swallowing Lin Qi whole. Its eyes widened, primal instincts screaming death.
This strike would end it.
“Haa!!”
But the beast could only bellow helplessly as the Thunderhorn Longspear crashed down on its spine.
“Boom!!”
“Crunch—”
The impact reverberated like thunder. The boar’s head slammed into the ground, its thick limbs snapping like twigs—its spine shattering first.
Its body crumpled, dust billowing, blood gushing from every orifice. Its legs twitched… then stilled.
Second Obsidian Horn Boar—dead. Double kill.
Lin Qi withdrew his spear, expressionless, as if swatting a fly.
Nearby, Li Zhou gaped at him from the ground.

And that black longspear…
Memories flashed—Yang Jian from the Hao Yue Festival’s Promotion Match, wielding identical moves.
They’re the same person!
Li Zhou’s mind reeled. Lin Qi? How had he grown so strong? A beast he couldn’t defeat—killed in two strikes.
Could Lin Qi be the true strongest in Second High?
The thought left Li Zhou hollow.
Lin Qi flicked blood off his spear, shouldering the weapon as he turned. “Li Zhou, you okay?”
“I… I’m fine!” Li Zhou gritted his teeth, forcing himself up. “Just a bad day. My fire axe is weak anyway.”
He staggered, muscles screaming, drained beyond repair.
Lin Qi nodded. “I believe you.”
Jiang Tao limped over, awe-struck. “Brother Qi, you’re insane!”
“Don’t you even feel winded? Third Killing Moves drain tons of energy! You used three in a row and didn’t even break a sweat!”
Lin Qi shook his head. “I’m tired, but I might’ve broken into the Second Realm.”
“Second Realm? Already?!” Jiang Tao and Li Zhou blurted.
“You’re not stuck at 9.99 Vital Energy?” Li Zhou asked, pain forgotten.
“I finished refining my minor muscle groups with Five Elements Boxing ages ago.”
“Five Elements Boxing?!” Li Zhou muttered, deflated.
The technique he’d struggled with—dismissed so casually.
A howl pierced the air.
At the street’s end, a gray mountain of fur emerged. Nearly six feet tall, muscles like boulders under steel-gray quills. Its emerald eyes glowed with cruelty, jaws dripping with gore.
A third-grade Disaster Beast—the Grayspine Wolf. Larger, deadlier than the Ironthorn Boar.
“Brother Qi, it’s a third-grade Disaster Beast!” Jiang Tao stepped in front of Jiang Miaoyin, battle saber raised.
“I know.” Lin Qi tightened his grip.
Li Zhou grit his teeth, hefting his fire axe.
The Grayspine Wolf roared, charging—then froze mid-stride.
A black blur tore from the sky, blade flashing like ice.
“Punk!”
The wolf’s head flew clean off. Its body collapsed, blood geysering.
A hulking man in black combat gear wiped his saber, nodding at Lin Qi. “Grayspine Wolf’s down. Rescue’s here.” He vanished like smoke.
Fourth-Circle Martial Artist? Lin Qi mused, sensing the man’s crushing Vital Energy.
“Look!” Jiang Miaoyin pointed skyward.
A red aircraft descended. The cabin door swung open, and a figure in blue armor leapt out.
“Beast, die!”
A thunderclap echoed through Golden Street, followed by a bloodcurdling scream.
“Yue Feng, Deputy Pavilion Master,” Lin Qi noted.
Jiang Tao slumped, exhaustion washing over him. Li Zhou collapsed onto the ground, chuckling weakly.
Lin Qi alone stood tall, striding to the back kitchen. “Rescue’s here! We’re safe!”
Cheers erupted.
The little girl ran up. “Big brother, thank you!”
Lin Qi reached out—then paused, seeing his bloodied hand. He smiled, retracting it.
