Chapter 10: Suisui Loses Her Hair
Doctor Liu flew into a rage, instantly frightening Suisui.
Suisui, now naked, trembled at the sight of the doctor's cold face. Although she knew her brother was just on the other side of the screen, the lack of clear visibility made her anxious.
The unknown fear caused her to shrink back instinctively, her small hands flailing helplessly at her sides, not knowing where to place them.
The scene before her reminded Suisui of the time her cousin had stripped her of her clothes.
Back then, her cousin had laughed boisterously with Damao and Erdan, while her aunt scolded her with exasperation, and her aunts, Xiaocao and Guihua, sneered at her.
The familiar feeling of fear and helplessness caused Suisui to bite her lip and shed silent tears.
Suisui thought to herself that she wasn't particularly scared, just a little bit.
The visible fear in the little girl's eyes and her pitiful tears soon softened Doctor Liu, and he quickly calmed down.

Doctor Liu's voice was soft as he spoke to Suisui, so Feng Xuanrui couldn't make out what they were saying.
And so, when he finished his bath and stepped out, he was surprised to see his sister with a shaved head.

While Suisui's hair had resembled straw, shaving it all off seemed a bit extreme.

As he spoke, he used a large towel to gently pat Suisui dry and then wrapped it securely around her.
