Chapter 10: In the Name of [Absolute Justice]!
Tsukikage Shinku still remembered clearly—two years ago—when a prodigy from the Uchiha clan, a young man named Uchiha Iizumi, clad in the garb of the Investigation Corps, had single-handedly stormed the Moonlight clan’s residence.
The man had spoken with cold, unyielding authority:
"Investigation Corps is on official duty. Bystanders, clear the area. Resistance will be met with lethal force."
Tsukikage Shinku had no idea what had sparked the conflict.
All he knew was that he had watched, frozen in horror, as his father was slain.
Two of his uncles—family elders—were also murdered that night.
That night…
The Moonlight clan’s compound had been thick with the stench of sulfur.
Lava, scorching hot, had pooled across the ground.
Walls were riddled with slashes, speared through with kunai and shuriken.
Afterward, the entire Moonlight clan had petitioned the Third Hokage, demanding justice.
They pleaded with the Hokage to arrest Uchiha Iizumi and deliver him to the gallows—this Uchiha demon who had slaughtered their kin.
But…
For reasons unknown, the matter had been quietly dropped.
Some elders returned from the Hokage’s office, crestfallen and silent.
They never spoke of it again.
No further action was taken against the Uchiha.
No demands for retribution.
All they told the younger generation was: Remember this hatred. Never forget.
That was all.
And now…
Uchiha Iizumi had returned.
“No—!”
Tsukikage Shinku snapped back to reality, yanking his sword free in a panic.
He bolted toward his home, his movements frantic and unsteady.
But as he reached the gates of the Moonlight clan’s residence, a thunderous boom split the air.
In his vision—his younger brother, Tsukikage Seizui, face twisted in rage, unleashed a Doton jutsu, aiming to kill two young Uchiha from the Investigation Corps.
Then, for a split second, Seizui’s body flickered—became translucent.
Tsukikage Shinku couldn’t tell if his brother was using Translucent Release to strike back…
Or if he was fleeing in desperation.
“Seizui! Don’t do it!!”
He screamed, voice cracking with fear.
Either way—there was no way to survive against Uchiha Iizumi.
The only chance of life was to drop your weapons, surrender, and beg for mercy.
Inside the compound, Uchiha Iizumi seized Izumi by the collar and hurled him aside like a ragdoll.
He landed lightly, leaping aside as a boulder crashed where he’d stood.
His eyes—already crimson with a terrifying intensity—now pulsed with the faint, swirling pattern of the Three Tomoe Sharingan.
His gaze darted left—empty space.
But the earth beneath his feet had shifted.
Translucent Release…
A cold smirk curled at the edge of Iizumi’s lips.
He drew a handful of shuriken and flung them into the air with precision.
They screamed through the void—cutting through nothing… yet something answered.
A choked gasp echoed.
Then, blood began to spurt from the air, as if the wind itself had been wounded.
“Seizui! Don’t run!”
Tsukikage Shinku roared, sprinting toward the crimson mist.
But Tsukikage Seizui, struck by the shuriken despite his stealth, stumbled—his body flickering in and out of visibility.
When he saw his older brother arrive, his panic only deepened.
He dodged Shinku’s outstretched hand.
Ignoring the searing pain in his back, he fled—toward the far end of the compound.
But he didn’t make it.
A single, razor-sharp blade pierced him from behind.
Seizui’s eyes widened in shock.
He gasped, blood bubbling at his lips.
The blade twisted inside him—slow, deliberate—then was yanked out.
He staggered, collapsing under the weight of his own blood.
He clutched his chest, hands instantly drenched in crimson.
The Translucent Release jutsu collapsed.
His body—exposed, broken—fell into view.
“Seizui—!!”
Shinku’s cry grew louder, closer.
But Seizui’s mind was fading.
“Tsukikage Seizui,” Iizumi said, voice ice-cold, “your mother’s body has been found. Your crimes are now known.”
A flicker of despair crossed Seizui’s face.
“Today… in the name of [Absolute Justice]… I sentence you.”
He staggered forward, dragging himself around—his vision darkening.
“T-There… evidence…?”
He whispered, blood leaking from his lips.
“The marks on the corpse were erased,” Iizumi replied, wiping the blade clean.
“But memories… you cannot erase memories.”
He turned toward the sky.
“Investigation Corps will transfer the body to the Yamanaka clan.
You know their techniques.
The evidence you seek…
Will be burned for you—if your clan ever forgives your sin of matricide.”
Seizui collapsed.
His strength drained completely.
As he fell, Tsukikage Shinku finally reached him—grabbing his brother’s limp form, pressing his hands hard against the gaping wound in his chest, trying to stop the blood.
“Seizui! Hold on! I’ll get you to a medic!”
Thwap.
Shinku froze.
Seizui had slapped his hand away.
“Cough… don’t… pretend,” Seizui whispered, face pale as death, voice weak with mockery.
“If she hadn’t favored you so much… I wouldn’t have… killed her.
Funny, isn’t it?
The father you loved most… died at the hands of Uchiha Iizumi.
The mother who doted on you… died by my blade.
Heh….”
In Shinku’s stunned silence, Seizui let out one final breath.
“I… really… envy you…”
His eyes lost all light.
His breath ceased.
【Ping! You have successfully eliminated a “Red Mark” criminal! Your chakra has been slightly enhanced! Congratulations—you have obtained the bloodline limit: “Translucent Release”!】
Two years ago, Uchiha Iizumi had killed three Moonlight clan members.
But those deaths had only granted him three jutsu—not the clan’s unique bloodline.
Today…
With the execution of Tsukikage Seizui, the “Red Mark” criminal, Iizumi added a new bloodline to his arsenal—Translucent Release—joining the ranks of Sharingan and Molten Release.
“…Iizumi-senpai…”
A soft, stunned voice came from behind.
Izumi, wide-eyed and shaken, stood frozen.
She had heard every word.
Her world had cracked.
“That body… was his mother?”
She whispered, voice trembling.
“Yes.”
Iizumi answered, calm.
Izumi stared at the corpse, then at Shinku—still clutching his brother’s body, frozen in shock, like a man whose mind had short-circuited.
“This… just because he was jealous… he killed her?”
She whispered, horrified.
“That,” Iizumi said, staring at the lifeless form, “is what evil truly is in the Ninja World.”
He turned, voice low and heavy.
“Twisted minds. Brutal wars. All of it… magnifies the darkness within every soul.
And the power of a ninja… only feeds their delusion that they can escape Justice.”
He paused.
“The Ninja World is sick.”
He clenched his fist.
“It needs… a cleansing.”
…
…
