As Jiang Zhe meditated on the incomplete Three-Star Chart Metamorphosis, within a region approximately 27,000 light-years from Earth—
The vast stellar cluster of the Hercules Constellation was awakening!
The mutual nourishment Jiang Zhe received through his Star Chart visualization didn’t originate from this constellation. Rather, it was the constellation itself that benefited from his presence, gaining sentience and undergoing an inexplicable transformation after being touched by the supreme aura of Hercules.
“In my past life, I heard of genetic diseases that torment people endlessly,” Jiang Zhe mused, part of his consciousness still focused on visualization. “Yet when my genetic code was rewritten, I felt no pain—only comfort, like soaking in a hot spring. It was… exhilarating, as if my very blood was surging with vitality.”
“There’s also this strange sensation of my body dissolving into a particle torrent, reassembling at a microscopic level.”
Muttering to himself, Jiang Zhe closed his eyes again, fully immersing in the visualization of the incomplete Star Chart.
Two hours later—
The complex work of genetic reconfiguration concluded, and Jiang Zhe emerged transformed, his aura completely renewed.
Genetic code, akin to binary computer code but in a quaternary system, contained a million times more information than traditional programming. Through different sequencing combinations, it dictated traits like height, build, personality, and intelligence.
As Jiang Zhe’s genetic code rewrote itself, his entire being changed. His physique, refined to perfect golden proportions, became a masterpiece of sculpted muscle and raw power—a singular artwork forged by the heavens themselves.
Of course, for now, this was merely superficial. He still needed further metamorphosis. Only after forming three Stellar Nodes and completing the first stage of the Life Blueprint would he become a new species in both form and essence.
A luminous Stellar Node coalesced deep within Jiang Zhe’s cerebral domain.
Naturally, this occurred on a fantastical, conceptual level—a Schrödinger’s Cat-like construct, “Jiang Zhe’s Star.” Even if someone split open his skull, they’d find no physical trace of this Node in the material world.
“The first step is done!” Jiang Zhe felt a surge of excitement, though troubling thoughts followed.
“Sigh, the next steps won’t be this easy.”
“As a baseline Genetic Tier 1 being, I had the foundation to transform into another Tier 1 lifeform. It was like tearing down an old house and rebuilding it with the same materials.”
“But forming the second Stellar Node will be like gathering new bricks and timber to add a floor—far more difficult.”
“Still, I’m young now. How much can I ‘consume’? When I reach the World King Stage and advance the Life Blueprint, the energy demands will be unimaginable.”
Jiang Zhe chuckled, recalling Luo Feng’s struggles with the Nine Calamities Secret Manual. Earthlings who failed their physical cultivation merely dissolved into ash, requiring minimal energy to revive. But when Goldhorned Beasts failed, their bodies’ reconstruction drained energy so severely Luo Feng nearly fainted. Fortunately, he’d discovered the law of energy conservation, using ashes as a substitute.
“Though still Tier 1, I’m incomparable to before. At the very least, by universal standards, I’ve reached the first bloodline rank. Adulthood alone would grant Domain Lord Grade… though ‘adulthood’ in the cosmos certainly doesn’t mean eighteen.”
“Domain Lords live a million years—immortal species. How could they mature in just twenty years?”
He scratched his head, thinking of the unresolved plot hole about the Man Ka Species in the original story.
“But one thing’s certain—the Man Ka’s Genetic Tier is definitely inferior to the Celestial Wolf’s.”
…
Exiting his inner world, Jiang Zhe sat cross-legged in the Five-Heart Heavenward Stance, attempting to cultivate Genetic Primordial Energy.
Once he started, he couldn’t stop.
It felt too good.
Previously, drawing Cosmic Energy required painstaking effort, like chasing a cold, aloof goddess who scorned his frail body. Now, after Bloodline Ascension, the Cosmic Energy flocked to him like devoted admirers—roles reversed.
His first post-evolution cultivation session lasted seven hours, from dawn to dusk, before his cells approached saturation. And this was without using any guiding arts!
“High bloodline rank truly lets you do as you please!” Jiang Zhe exclaimed.
Yet doubts lingered. “Will Earth’s guiding arts even work for me now?”
“Tomorrow I’ll pester my second senior brother again. I’ve nothing left to learn—time to claim a core canon and choose my main weapon.”
Indeed, Jiang Zhe’s current path remained martial arts.
Wait—what about his Mentalist potential?
That path merely boosted physical fundamentals during awakening, creating an edge over peers. It was a pay-to-win profession requiring top-tier mental strength weapons andsupporting secret techniques to unleash full power. Without Yinmo Star Sect’s investment, could Earth’s Mentalists even thrive?
Currently, Earth’s Mentalists focused on controlling Annihilation Daggers for ambushes—hardly worth studying.
Jiang Zhe willed six pens to levitate, their tips plunging downward at blinding speed, piercing the sandalwood desk. The scattered fragments hovered midair, bound by invisible force—including droplets of black ink. With a flick of his Mental Energy, they all flew into the trash bin.
“Sixfold Psychic Amplification!”
“Simultaneously controlling six Annihilation Daggers at full power.”
“Mastering this so early… partly because I retained consciousness during Earth’s transformation, granting deep soul-awareness. Plus, the Divine Core’s refinement of my True Spirit played a role.”
“So Mentalist cultivation isn’t urgent. Controller or Illusionist—whichever comes first by chance.”
After planning his Mentalist future, Jiang Zhe refocused.
“Elevating Life Genome, amplifying strength, and reaching Stellar-Level cultivation—these are my top priorities.”
“…Actually, scratch the last one. Those in the know understand.”
“So my main goals are seeking battles and refining Striking Arts. I must enter the Wilderness Zone…”
At the thought of Striking Arts, he grimaced.
“Earth’s martial artists walk a dead end. And in the cosmos, buying high-tier secret techniques costs fortunes—most Domain Lords can’t even achieve hundredfold strength amplification.”
“I’ll have to squeeze Babata for resources from the Newbie Gift…”
“Babata… but I have a cheat code. No need to sabotage Luo Feng’s opportunities—especially not that inheritance soul mark.”
“Most importantly, I have secrets that make partnering with Babata risky.”
“For now, I’ll forge ahead alone. A dead end beats stagnation. When I encounter cosmic Power Release techniques, I’ll dissect their principles, refine my own methods, correct errors, and elevate them to higher realms.”
“With my talent, this isn’t a pipe dream.”
“If an ordinary genius like Moluo could do it, why not me?”
“Besides, we’re both essentially Xingyi Sect practitioners.”
…
Oh no, I messed up the chapter split and missed the deadline.
Ugh, if a new book goes four days without updates, it loses full-attendance rewards. I’m edging closer to disaster.
