Chapter 1 : Summoned to the castle
In the heart of Tokyo, Kazuki Yamamoto lived a seemingly ordinary life, spending his days working at a local bookstore and his nights lost in the pages of his favorite manga and anime. Little did he know that his world was about to be turned upside down by a fateful encounter.
One evening, as Kazuki and his friends gathered for their weekly anime marathon, a strange light engulfed them, transporting them to a magnificent castle in a distant realm. As they stumbled out of the dazzling light, they found themselves standing in the courtyard of the castle, surrounded by towering walls and fluttering banners.
"What...what just happened?" Kazuki stammered, his eyes wide with disbelief as he took in their surroundings.
His friends exchanged bewildered glances, their expressions mirroring his own confusion. "I have no idea," one of them said, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "But I think we're definitely not in Tokyo anymore."
As they stood there, trying to make sense of their sudden arrival in this strange new world, a regal figure emerged from the shadows of the castle, his robes billowing in the wind as he approached.
"Greetings, travelers," the figure said, his voice booming with authority. "I am King Alaric, ruler of this realm. You have been summoned to my castle for a great purpose—a purpose that will test the very limits of your courage and resolve."
Kazuki's heart raced as he listened to the king's words, his mind buzzing with questions. Why had they been summoned to this castle? And what was the purpose that awaited them?
Before he could voice his concerns, King Alaric continued, his gaze sweeping over the group with a mixture of curiosity and determination. "You have been chosen to embark on a quest of great importance," he declared, his voice echoing through the courtyard. "A quest to rid our land of an ancient evil that threatens to engulf us all."
As the gravity of their situation sank in, Kazuki felt a surge of determination wash over him. Whatever challenges lay ahead, he knew that he could face them with courage and conviction, as long as he had his friends by his side.
And so, as they prepared to embark on their quest, Kazuki and his friends braced themselves for the trials and tribulations that awaited them. For in the heart of the castle, amidst the echoes of their footsteps and the whispers of the wind, anything was possible—and everything was waiting to be discovered.
