As Dongmei finally arrived in front of him, his legs started to shake, even though he was sitting on the floor. Normally one would scream, but under Dongmei glare, he couldn't let out a voice out of his mouth.

Dongmei smiled evilly seeing the miner already not able to handle the pressure and turned to the man standing next to her, asking happily, "Wuxing, will you?" Dongmei was not a compassionate person unless it was towards people she cared about. As long as one got under her skin, their lives were not safe at all.

"Sure," Wuxing agreed without any objections and crouched in front of the miner, asking with a smile, "Wasn't it better to just let it go? Sigh, that wasn't a smart choice. You probably remember the last person who tried to lie to Miss Guan. If you don't want to end up the same, I suggest you admit it."

"Mhmm!" The miner exclaimed with muffled sounds because of the cloth that prevented him from talking and nodded, trying to cooperate. After all, his life was on the line. If even the Chief Warden wasn't doing anything then he seriously had to worry about it.

Just as Wuxing pulled out the cloth from the miner's mouth, the miner called out to Dongmei apologetically, "Miss Guan, I'm really sorry! I didn't think about the consequences and I was blinded by hatred, pulling Miss into our grudge. I beg for forgiveness."

"Tsk… Do you think that one apology is enough when everyone is already talking about me behind my back? This world doesnt work like that," Dongmei snickered and shook her head, already deciding what she wanted to do with him.

Dongmei only grinned and assured him, "Don't worry, I didn't plan to do anything other than what you did. Chief Warden, we will leave the aftermath into your hands."

'Shit… I knew it...' Chief Warden could only curse seeing Wuxing's cruelty and call for others who would clean the body from the area. He didn't have the power over Dongmei and even if it was Wuxing who killed him, under the protection of Dongmei, he was almost as good as her.

Fortunately for him, they didn't kill the miner right in front of everyone but on the side of the hospital where not many people were walking. This would allow him to hush up the whole situation with little complications.

Reaching out with her hand, she pointed at her advanced watch and explained, "It's not just a normal watch as you already know. I can talk through it like a phone or video call but it is also connected to my guard's watches. If I get away from them at fifty meters, they will be quickly informed."

"Let me see," Wuxing reached out to it and quickly found the strap which was holding it in place, untying it. Taking the watch, he entered inside the apartment and threw it onto the bed, saying with a smile, "See? Now you are still in the room and they won't know anything."

"Can we shoot with them for fun too? It has been a while since I shot from a gun." Dongmei asked excitedly, forgetting for a moment that she already did just yesterday and only under Wuxing speechless stare did she say innocently, "What? I mean like shooting to the targets… Shooting people from up close is not that fun."

"Okay, we can shoot to the targets if you want. I have a lot of ammunition and a suppressor," Wuxing agreed after seeing her puppy eyes, pulling out other stuff from the sofa, before asking while looking at her from up and down, "Are you going to change or will you go like that? Even if it's hot, I suggest you put a pair of long pants. We don't know what conditions we will encounter. Nature is quite abundant here."

Looking down at her pretty dress, she realised it wouldn't be appropriate for such a journey and kissed him sweetly before skipping towards her closet, "Alright, give me a second. I will change and we can go."

Watching her back drifting away, Wuxing couldn't help but think, 'Being with her doesn't actually sound this bad…'
