"Behave like you are in pain!" She called out right when the watch finally transformed into something Wuxing has never seen. It looked like a metal spider the size of a watch with few cameras attached to it instead of its eyes.

"Dongmei~ sweetheart! How are you doing?" Just then, a mature female voice came out of the spider and soon a small hologram or a lady appeared out of it. The lady was so lifelike as if she was a small human. One wouldn't notice the difference between human and the hologram.

He knew that the tech industry was reaching its peak right now, with many new technologies coming out thanks to the discovery of Ethernum, but he didn't expect to see such an advanced projector.

"Mom! I'm working right now!" Dongmei showed herself to the camera and complained cutely. There was even a trace of pink showing up on her cheeks.

"Hehe, I know, I know. My great daughter is a doctor now. But you have to leave some time for your mommy too, right? I miss my baby every day." Dongmei's mom giggled, talking with love in her voice. "Oh! Where is he?" Dongmei's mother exclaimed and moved with the cameras to find Wuxing. Seeing that, Dongmei quickly punched his ribs, making him cry out in pain.

"Oh, what a poor gentleman. Don't worry Sir, my daughter will help you. Okay sweetie, then I won't trouble you anymore. You can continue with your work." The miniature mom exclaimed one again seeing Wuxing laying in pain and understood the seriousness of the situation.

Dongmei smiled with relief behind her mother's back and said, "Goodbye!" before reaching out for the call ending button.

Before she did so, her mother added, "Wait, I almost forgot. Your's and your father's birthday is in three months. I hope you can come back home for the party. It's your twenty-fifth birthday after all. Maybe you will be able to finally meet a fine man for yourself…"

"I will try to fit it into my schedule…" Hearing her, Dongmei tried to get rid of her quickly, but her mother cut her off crying out, "No! Promise me you will come! You were absent last year. You have to come this year!"

"Tsk, fine… I will come." Seeing her mom's angry face, Dongmei had no choice but to agree unwillingly.

"Okay~! Love you!" With Dongmei agreement, her mom turned back to her lovable attitude and parted on her own.

"Now I understand from where did you inherit your character…" Wuxing commented when the spider turned back into a watch and the room turned silent.

"You… Do you want to die?" Dongmei glared angrily at him, with all the cuteness from before gone.

"Hah, you can call me Wuxing, not 'you'" He laughed and introduced himself. If she was supposed to help him, it was proper for her to know his name.

"Wuxing then. Let me tell you one thing. If you even say one word about what just happened to anyone, I will kill you. You hear me?" Dongmei reached out and threatened him while holding his cheeks.

Wuxing didn't say anything but instead smiled and lifted himself up abruptly while grabbing her hand at the same time. Even with the gunshot wound on his left shoulder, he was able to exert just enough strength with his right arm to pull her away.

With the momentum of the pull, her back fell onto his chest and he quickly finished his attack by blocking her other hand, blocking it against her chest. It wasn't a peak performance move, but he still managed to lock her in place.

"You think you can kill me this easily?" Wuxing asked, whispering into her ear thinking how easily she got herself played.

"Are my breasts soft to the touch? Do you want to touch them bare?" Dongmei asked back softly without any anger while moving around with her chest rubbing against his chest.

In that split second when he thought about it and felt her round breasts rubbing against his skin, she suddenly clicked one button on her watch and a small needle slid out. She instantly pushed it against Wuxing hand, aiming at his nerve.

There was no way Wuxing wouldn't be paralyzed for a second or two which she used to escape. Raising her leg onto the operation table, she launched herself into the air while also holding Wuxing's head for support and soon landed right behind him.

"Do you think you would catch me if I didn't let you?" She asked in the same fashion he did while also putting a knife up to his throat which she pulled from the socket under her dress.

"Okay, you can let go of me. I was just testing you. When I recover, we can fight seriously, if you want." Wuxing managed to reach out in the last moment to grab her hand which held the knife up to his throat, but she could still kill him with one movement if she wanted.

"Tell me. What is your secret." Dongmei pressed against his back and asked, without withdrawing the knife.

"Sigh, fine. I have the ability that allows me to heal my wounds faster than normal. Happy?" Wuxing sighed and told her what she wanted. He didn't say anything about the shapeshifting abilities of his power as that's now what she asked for.

"Oh, you actually didn't lie. I like you more and more." Dongmei smiled knowing he still didn't lie to her since the beginning and continued to ask, "How does it work?"

"I am not telling you. You should first pull the knife away. Then we can talk." Wuxing declined right away. He already allowed her too much freedom.

"Fine. Can you tell me now?" Dongmei let go as her curiosity won and asked again right after.

Knock, knock!

Suddenly, the door opened after a quick double knock and a bunch of people entered the room. Unfortunately, what they saw wasn't what they expected. Wuxing was naked up from his waist while Dongmei was sitting behind him, which from their perspective looked like she was hugging him.

"Miss Guan…" The Chief Warden came here to scold her but seeing the situation, he didn't know what to say.
