Wuxing was currently in an apartment that he rented for a week, knowing he will travel to the headquarters a bit earlier than the actual selection. The was a limited number of spots for the selection but thousands of people wanted to join Seven Stars each time. Naturally, the pre-selection had to be brutal but Wuxing wasn't worried about it, already having his own plans. 

Drinking a fruit smoothie, Wuxing unpacked his temporary phone that he bought to remotely order food for himself, booting it up before segregating all the clothes he now had after his shopping spree. He had to buy a suitable suitcase for himself as well so he doesn't look suspicious when he enters the Airport. He also needed a place where he could hide his clothes in case he wanted to change his appearance again. 

When everything was done, all that he had to do was to begin the training. It was already evening but he wanted to check all of his ideas before he hit the bed. He knew a lot of them were crazy and he wasn't sure which ones would be possible to achieve. 

His ability had basically unlimited possibilities and he wanted to discover all of them. Fortunately, now he had Devil Face assistance so it would be much easier than before. He was no longer playing around and actually gave some crucial information that could help him. 

Just as he took off his shirt, ready to start, Devil Face asked, 'So from which one do you want to start? Most of the ones you thought about will eat a lot of energy. I doubt you have time to train all of them. Before you have everything figured out, you will run out of money as you will spend it all on food.'

'I want to create a weapon first. I already know that I can create a layer of bone tissue that can surround my skin and act as a shield but I didn't try to make something like a knife. Or maybe claws would be nice? I am still not sure what to do so I can only use the trial and error method.' 'Hmm… The most of my previous Ability Users did was increase their muscle tissue and strengthened their skeleton so I don't think I can help you with everything. Just as I told you, what you want to do require too much energy.' Devil Face said as he recalled his past before adding, aiming to raise Wuxing's hope, 'Fortunately, you are lucky as the upcoming event will provide you guys with some Energy Stones or rather Ethernum Stones, which can fix your problem. Wuxing shrugged after hearing Devil Face insights and finished the whole smoothie for additional energy as he said, 'I guess I have no choice then. I will have to deal with it using normal food until I can consume Ethernum Stones.' 

Feeling as if he was full, he asked about the previous issue he mentioned, 'Did you think of a way for me to measure my current level of energy in my body?' Right now, Wuxing didn't have an idea of when he would run out of it and could only base it on how he felt. 

'Yeah. I can calculate your energy level after scanning your body. How about I visualize it like a battery you have on your phone? Close your eyes and check if you like it.' 

Just as Wuxing listened and closed his eyes, he saw a battery sign with ninety-eight percent number next to it which immediately put Wuxing into ecstasy, making him exclaim, 'Oh! This is great! That will help a lot.' Just then, the number suddenly went up to a hundred before crossing it, stopping around one hundred and ten. 

Wuxing wanted to ask about it but Devil Face was first, explaining how it worked, 'I set one hundred percent as the level of energy your body is comfortable with. Right now you just ate and drank. Your stomach is still full of food that is yet to be digested and transformed into energy. Human bodies are so great that you can basically store more energy than you need at the moment. Unfortunately, it is so smart that it will automatically try to use the surplus of your energy throughout your body to reach one hundred percent. I suggest you start the training and use it first.'

'Alright! I will start with a small blade!' Wuxing exclaimed as he finally stopped wasting time and held onto his arm so that it doesn't move, beginning the operation. 

As it was basically impossible to hide his blade or claws inside of his body just as someone tried in the move because his hand would be too stiff to move, his initial plan was to create one outside of his body before connecting it with his arm. He wanted the knife to be part of his body. 

Naturally, that was only his theory and everything had to be tested with practice. The first thing he did was surround his wrist with bone cells, creating some kind of support band before making something like a pocket for his blade that went all the way to his elbow. Although it was the rough build, he already knew it would be hard to move his arm with it. 

He didn't stop though and instead continued, leaving the adjustments for later. He monitored the battery each time he closed his eyes and found that Devil Face's words were true. Just this much of bone cells ate almost half of his energy. Fortunately, he wasn't looking for a one-time weapon but rather a permanent addition to his arsenal. 

'It's going to take a while I guess.' Wuxing thought as he peeled a banana with one hand and gave it a solid bite. He didn't want to lack energy the moment he creates the final blade. 

When Wuxing finally started making a blade inside of the pocket, even Devil Face was sceptical about it, saying, 'How about you create something else? This thing is too big for you to carry all the time. Also, it's not cost and time-efficient. You will have to create it next time in the future and it will suck all the energy from you. I doubt you can use it during the selection.' 

'It's okay. I'm not only testing the things I can do but also training the control over my ability. You said it yourself. The more I use it, the faster I can evolve. That's exactly what I'm doing right now.' Wuxing explained calmly as he continued to form the blade while munching on a chocolate bar filled with oats. 

It took him more than five minutes to finally form the blade and the next five to sharpen it. Only then did he finally let out a relaxed breath and looked at himself in the mirror. 

The top of his forearm now had a long sheath that was connected to his body through two bone rings. The whole mechanism was like an extension of his arms as he could basically change everything at any point in time. The two rings were connected with bone cells through his skin right into his bones which created fully stable structure. 

The only problem he had was that his arm became too stiff and he couldn't rotate it. He played around with his wrist and suddenly swung with his arm after unlocking the blockage in the sheath. Using inertial force to unleash the blade, the mechanism stopped it in the last moment, holding it in place which gave Wuxing around thirty centimetres of the naked blade. 

"Cool!" Wuxing exclaimed as he waved with his new blade a few times, quite proud of himself after seeing the first product of his engineering. He knew it had to be further improved but he was still happy.

He looked for something that he could cut in half and threw a banana into the air before slicing right through it without problems. It felt unnatural but Wuxing couldn't help but laugh, muttering to himself, "Haha, the future is looking interesting!"
