Ch9

After Deren had met the great ruler and suddenly became an Overlord he's life had been easy going. All the other Overlords excepted him without complaints as the great ruler had chosen him himself.

" Mhm? ...who's there? "

As Deren was walking heading to his private chambers he could sense a presence near. His skill (detector) had gone through an evolution when he became an Overlord so it was pretty useful to have. Without fail it would work if a person he'd never met was near him.

" Relax, it's me Overlord Jin "

A man with blue hair wearing some armor was standing behind him. Deren turned and was in suprise.

" Ah....is it really you? "

Deren had met Jin countless of times but not once did he look like the man with blue hair.

" Don't worry it's really me. This is just one of my other bodies, my original is busy with something important concerning the Omega dragons "

Deren was still skeptical but he relised that the person infront of him had a similar aura to the original Jin.

" Omega dragons? "

" Thats right, infact that's what I wanted to talk to you about. Overlord Shitous information gathering units detect a dragon causing a ruckus in the world right now, so we gotta deal with it "

" I see...but couldn't the great ruler see to it? "

" Not good at all, you see the great ruler created us Overlords so that he wouldn't have to deal with pesky work like dragons so if he tends to it, Overlords would be seen as useless to him and soon making us useless "

" Ah, got it. But how strong are Omega dragons? I've never fought any before "

" Impossible to beat unless you have a godly weapon that the great ruler himself creates, I'm here to give you yours "

Jin tossed him a white and golden sword that appeared out of thin air. When Deren caught it he analyzed it and was amazed at how beautiful it looked.

" Dragons are just monsters that are higher in the food chain but Omega dragons are what you could call true dragons "

" I understand that but um...who's that? "

" What? "

Jin looked over where Deren was looking at and saw a red monster humanoid figure just standing. It's whole body was covered in dark red scales, it's body thin but packed with what looked like muscles,
it had like green pearls that had a constant shine to them, likely being it's eyes with a green see through crystal in its chest.

" Pesky dragon! "

Jin drew his sword and Deren followed by preparing to use the godly weapon but the Omega dragon's whole body was already engulfed in crimson red flame. In less than a second the whole building was engulfed in flames with a loud explosion.

"「 Targets....are.....dead 」"

The Omega dragon was standing in an inferno of pure flames unaffected. It had done its mission successfully by killing the two Overlords Jin and Deren.

"「......no..... 」"

It relised Overlord Jin wasn't exactly dead. His true spirit was still living somewhere so it still had more work to do.

And with that it vanished with the flames forming a tornado around it.

" Sir...we have intruders "

A girl named Asiko said to Overlord Shitou. She had brown curly hair and wore black armor, her breast area exposed as they were to big to keep in check.

" Really? Let them in if they can make it this far "

A man wearing glasses and a casual suit fit was sitting on his desk working on some project as always. He had dark navie hair that was slicked back but messy at the same time. His name Overlord Shitou.

" You shouldn't be so laxed sir, this intruder is coming in quite quickly, I'm afraid he's here to kill you "

" Then just kill the intruder for me, I've given you decent SS grade equipment so it should be doable "

Shitou said while never looking away from what he was busy with. Asiko knew he'd never really change his mind so decided to leave and fight the intruder herself.

Asiko was just another common girl in the past, working with her farther and brother to keep their guild alive and running, until a group of mercenaries destroyed her home while killing her brother in the process.

She had wanted revenge the most after that day but relised her time with her father and the guild had only made her weak so she couldn't do a thing. Until Shitou arrived and created the Science and magic guild, Asiko miraculously met him then begged him to train her and to which he agreed as he liked her body and wanted her to be his slave in return.

So for two years she trained under him but most of all she was taught how to use his SS grade equipments. And with that she got her revenge by killing all the mercenaries and she decided to stay by his side as per their agreement.


Asiko was walking towards the direction of the intruder, on her way she decided to double check her equipment that helped her fight heavily.

SS grade sword 1 of technique: 100% atk affect even if swung in any direction.

SS grade sword 2 of technique: Dimensional damage applicable.

SS grade armor of night: 50 barriers to protect the wearer ; Dimensional barrier.

SS grade necklace, earrings, rings: Atk+1000 ; Def+1000 ; Vit+1000 ; Mp+5000 ; Vision+1000 ; Senses+1000

This equipment with her training put her far above others in terms of combat, she'd never lost a fight before with it and even once considered striving for Overlord level once.

" There you are "

She saw the intruder a mile away, she drew both of her blades and activated all the effects on them. She could see a man with a large build and bulging muscles, he had white hair and had a scar on his face. He only wore ripped pants and a black tattoo could be seen ingraved on his chest.

His body was covered in blood and a happy smile of a deranged physcopath was on his face as he held two heads on both of his hands.

" Hey! hey! You there, let's play! "

" Tch! You vile beast "

Asiko focused her mana then faster than lightning she was already going for the kill.

She could have swung her sword anyhow but doing things like this put her more in the spirit, the man seemed frozen in time as he hadn't noticed her move yet. Her blades were almost about to touch his neck, causing his head to plop off but

*Shatter*

" Huh?.... "

" Mhm? AH! you moved didn't you! Haha! "

Her attack had succeeded but her blades shattered the moment they touched his skin. It was an unfathomable situation for her but she regained her calmness again knowing her defense was absolute.

Shatter*

" Wha!—Ark!! "

Her stomach was being drove in by a huge fist, that fist belonged to her enemy and what shattered was the dimension that separated her body from the real world. Her body was flung back to the entrance door that Shitou was in.

" Shi...Shitou....run!.... "

With those last words she died from the pain.


" Humans are this weak huh? "

The man kicked her body aside then barged in room, finding Shitou wearing armor and welding multiple weapons.

" Shall we fight Omega dragon? "

" Hehe! This is gonna be fun! "
