Deren couldn't believe what she was saying immediately. Apparently the one who was rumored to rule the Overlords and the world, the great ruler lived here in this suspicious mansion in the middle of the Hilla forest.

It was absolutely absurd to him but...her words felt like the truth, but if that was the case then Deren knew he was as good as dead. Even drawing his sword was a way to comfort himself, even if it was a little and he knew that. The magic system had even failed to show him her abilities.

' Dammit!....what do I do? I can't escape, she'd just easily catch up somehow '

Derens thoughts raced to find a way to escape.

" You do not have to worry, the great ruler welcomes anyone who meets the requirements to enter his abode. I am ordered to simply assist you in basic needs for a maximum of three days, you can also meet the great ruler if you wish "

" R really....? "

" Ofcourse, those were his orders "

Deren didn't know what to think. He thought his life was in danger but instead he was being offered help, and to boot being offered the opportunity to meet the so called great ruler of the world that even the 12 Overlords listen to.

" But we'll dispose of you if you try to harm him, not that you ever possibly could ofcourse "

" Ah! I'd never do such a thing! "

Deren relieved a sigh then sheathed his useless sword. Following the woman named Tess inside the huge house.

The interior was grand and spacious. It had multiple staircases leading up to different floors that seemed like they have no end. Deren was caught in awe. Tess and him were on the first floor. It had as much room as a normal house in of itself, there was a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room, gaming room ect.

" would you like to meet him? "

" ....sure, I want to "

If he had the chance to meet the rumored ruler of the world, Deren wanted to see him with his own eyes.

Suddenly the ground beneath them shone a bright yellow light to the point Deren couldn't see his surroundings anymore, but after a few seconds he could see again.

" Was that.... "

" Yes, instant teleportation "

It wasn't an easy feat by anymeans but she had done it so effortlessly. Deren was once again reminded the true monster she was. As he decided to look around he saw they were in a grassy plain but there were multiple trees and benches all around. But the most interesting part was the small house that was a distance away.

Tess and Deren walked over to it and soon enough they entered the house. Multiple beautiful women were sitting everywhere and doing as they pleased, some naked and some with revealing clothes. Deren couldn't help but feel embarrassed but non of them paid him or Tess any mind.

" W what is this place.... "

" The relaxation room found in the 405th floor, the grand ruler is currently here "

" Four hundred floors huh.... "

Tess ignored his last comment and continued walking straight ahead, ignoring all the women around and so did Deren. They came at a stop infront of a large door, Tess touched the door with her hand and it opened. Deren thought the journey was unesicaringly long but didn't dare complain.

As the door opened Deren could see a figure lying on the grassy field looking up at the sky. As Tess and himself got closer he saw it was a teenage boy who looked handsome and pretty at the same time. He had black hair and yellowish eyes, he wore normal commoner clothes but apart from his looks he didn't seem like anything special. Even Tess was much more intimidating in Derens opinion.

" Lord Vanto, you have a guest "

" Hm? Oh, a new guest "

Vanto didn't bother to get up and decided to talk while lying down. Deren didn't like that but if he complained he knew he would be killed.

" His name is Deren Feero. A commander from Overlord Jin's army "

" Ah, Jin huh? I'll hear you out "

Deren hadn't had anything to say exactly but a question he was most curious about popped in his mind.

" Do you really have authority over all the Overlords "

" Yep, I created them from a while ago to keep things in check in the world "

" Ah I see...so your truly the great ruler "

" Well I don't like being called that, just call me Vanto "

" Uh sure, I guess I'll get going "

" ....wait "

Deren froze up as he thought he had done something wrong. Vanto for the first time in their conversation sat up straight.

" I've been needing to add another Overlord, want to be one? "

" Huh?......sure? "

Deren suddenly exploded with power. He immediately checked his stats and saw he was level one hundred million with the class Overlord.

" H How did this happen?! "

" Lord Vanto wanted it so ofcourse it become reality "

Tess added with a smile on her face. Vanto fully got up and stretched his muscles.

" Alright, I think it's about time I go see things myself "

" L lord Vanto?! There's no need, we can deploy as many servants as possible for you! "

Tess said in distress, Deren was confused but decided to keep quiet. Even though he was now an Overlord, the two individuals were beyond his own abilities. He now understood that with his skill (character read).

" Nope, I've been lately bored here. I'm going cause I feel like it, it'll be fun I'm sure of it "

Vanto had changed both physically and mentally with his time with his new powers, he even changed the way he did things. He had now lived for over a million years, had a son and daughter and knew he could basically do anything if he put his mind to it. That was the kind of power the 12 gods had given him.

Though he didn't care for titles, he still made one as the great ruler to get into the mood of things. Then created the 12 Overlords as advised from Tellia, who would govern the world and fight off the celestial beings and Omega dragons.
" Take me to the capital of an adventurer city or something "

Vanto could easily take himself there but he liked doing things the long way as it felt more proper.

" I you sure about this? Can I not convince you otherwise? "

Tess liked to be around her lord as his parents left his responsibility to her a long time ago. Vanto had eventually given her god powers and so she couldn't age or die if her core wasn't damaged or destroyed.

" Not gonna happen, like I said I wanna go "

" Fine~ "
