It had exactly been fifty years since the last gathering of the Grand Elders and the Principal. They are busy people and have their own matters to attend to, but at this very day, the Grand Elders and the Principal gathered to bore witness on the one who possesses the blood of a Devil.
In the entirety of the Celestial Spirit Realm's history, there had been no True Devils that sprouted from anywhere in its deep history. At least not at the current era and the previous one. The Devil Path cultivators worship devils and tries to emulate the path they should take.
But even though this is the way, none had actually seen a true devil, not even the current principal of the Academy only follows the things written in a paper and what or how a Devil looks like.
But at this very moment, a six-winged Devil stood before the eyes of the current Principal and as the thick aura of Hell escaped the body of Wang Ling, the old men of the True Devil Academy were all in awe of the man in front of them.
"Our decision of standing our ground of waiting had paid off. Sir Devil, it is an honor meeting you." The Principal known simply as Principal Zi lowered his head as tears streamed down his face.
The Grand Elders did not stop such an act and even followed suit of what their Principal had done, the seven Grand Elders including Grand Elder Cisha all lowered their heads.
Wang Ling did not stop them from acting in such a manner, he even circulated his Hellish qi in order to make his aura even denser to make them feel that he is the real deal. The Devil Hall was filled with Wang Ling's qi and the Grand Elders and the Principal basked in this feeling.
The outside of the Devil Hall was also oozing with Hellish qi, the students of the True Devil Academy was actually heading for the foot of the mountain where the Devil Hall was located to revere the person who possesses such concentrated amount of Hellish Qi.
[I sped away with Grand Elder Cisha to the depths of the Academy and intentionally had my Hellish qi spread so there should be students who know of my presence correct?]
Being in the Holy Path and the Devil Path is the same, they revere those who have the thickest qi and treats them with awe. If either side makes a mistake by following the orders of that person, the one who gave out the instruction is the one who is in most cases at fault. Sometimes, people are just stupid.
The whole kneeling event was cut short after Wang Ling said, "That is enough, Principal Zi. We have pressing matters to attend to."
"Please follow me." Principal Zi led the way to the inner quarters of the Devil Hall and a round table was prepared.
Wang Ling followed and then sat in the Round Table with the rest of the Elders. They sat together and Principal Zi was the one who started the conversation. He looked Wang Ling and then asked, "Sir Devil, you have sent out us your blood twice, the first time we received it you simply left a vial in front of gates, did you have anything you wanted to tell us?"
Wang Ling nodded his head, "I wanted you to let you know that I am here and to see if you will take the hands of other forces if my presence is added to the mix. You say you guys wish to show that the Devil Path is not some path of the hooligans and I believed that. But I wanted to see if you are truly speaking truthfully. And if you were to join the hands of those who wish to create chaos in the name of the Devil Path, then I'll be able to see your true intentions. And I believe you know the forces I speak of."
"If you mean the Xie Clan, then I think what you are talking about." Principal Zi nodded his head as he began to speak seriously, "You are talking about the Xie Clan, correct? They have been approaching us for the past few years and although they have approached us many of times. We know of their past deeds and so rejected of taking their hands."
The Xie Clan had done many atrocious deeds in the past and the reason why they fell from their grace was because of the many enemies that besieged them from different sides. The True Devil Academy did not accept their offers because of this fact.
But to say they did not consider accepting their offers is a lie. They had also felt the blood of Xie San possesses and they were promised a place in the so-called 'new world' they are trying to create.
However, because of the simple fact that Wang Ling's blood felt more genuine than Xie San's. The denseness and the attributes of the qi in their blood was far from each other that they cannot even be compared.
And even after years, the difference they held was far more apparent than before. This time, Wang Ling's blood essence is far thicker and awe-inspiring than the first time they receive a drop of his blood.
Upon hearing the words of the Principal, Wang Ling smiled underneath the mask he was wearing. No one could see through under his mask and as he continued to smile he spoke with great confidence.
"I see that you truly wish to create a better life for the people of the Devil Path, and even when the Xie Clan extended their hands onto you, you still refuse. And I came here as a True Devil King to speak to you people about the way we can elevate the standing of the Devil Path in the Celestial Spirit Realm."
The countenance of the Grand Elders bloomed as the Principal asked, "Really? What is this way?"
Wang Ling paused and then said, "Have the Devil Path and the Holy Path become one."
