A pair of swords were created, containing the attribute of the two higher realms and the two forces that dictate different paths.

Wang Ling observed the swords in his hands, he was feeling weak, but he chose to stand up. He motioned a swing with the ordinary length sword, and with a swing, the air being torn apart was heard.

Wang Ling infused his qi to the sword on the sword and began altering its length, and weight. Wang Ling tried extending the sword and noticed it does not have much difference. He tried widening it and then its thickness.

With the thickness and width altered, the sword was no longer a sword but a block of steel. He reverted the sword to its original form and then tried altering its weight.

"With its sharpness and its swiftness capable of destroying and cutting apart any opponent I willed it to cut, the name [Reaper] is much suitable for the sword that will soon reap the lives of my opponents."

Wang Ling kept the swords away and he swayed as his exhausted body stumbled. But Wang Ling stood his ground and did not fall. He circulated his angelic qi and began his recuperation.

"My body is strong enough to hold on, though I won't be able to activate my bloodline for a day, the angelic would be enough to help me recuperate."

Wang Ling had been strengthening his body ever since he first awoke from his slumber. And in the five years' time, he had done so, he had finally managed to remain awake from igniting his bloodline.

He is still far off from fully conquering the backlash he experiences every time he ignites his bloodlines. Though from the looks of it, he is about to conquer them.

However, the idea of conquering the higher level bloodlines is still up for debate. After all, the True Devil General Bloodline and the Greater Holy Lord Bloodline is still something that is below of what is to come.

The [True Devil King] and the [Noble Holy Lord] is something that will even be stronger than the bloodline he currently possesses. By the time he conquers this exhaustion, a new challenge will undoubtedly arise.

Wang Ling slowly recuperated and then Bai Xue descended from the sky.

"That little campfire you did was something else. Even I didn't want to go near it, and I have the bloodline of the Phoenixes."

Wang Ling merely smiled as he stretches his body. Smiling wryly, Wang Ling turned to Bai Xue and asked, "Are you going to go after this?"

Bai Xue nodded her head, "We already agreed to it. The Beast Legion Sect is in the same situation as the Heaven's Will Academy, they need a successor that will lead them, and I am going to go there and take over. Shishi, do not worry, I will conquer it in a few months or so. It should be time to spread my name in all corners of this realm."

Wang Ling nodded his head and agreed with her words, "I agree, but keep your fox form to yourself, you're already known as a member of my family. If they were to learn that, you might be captured and chaos will descend faster."

"I know how to take care of myself. I will be leaving now. After I get the seat of the successor, I will send you a letter."

"Yeah, good luck, I will be heading to the Heaven's Will Academy and then roam the realm for some time. Send the letters to Butler Sun or the Xiao Clan, I will personally ask them to take care of it."

Wang Ling and Bai Xue said their goodbyes in a lackluster manner. They knew that separation was going to happen, if they want to face the chaos that is about to fall, Wang Ling has to ensure that every little bit of variables is aligned to his plans.

The subjugation of the Beast Legion Sect was taken by Bai Xue before he could say anything back. As to how it would turn out, Wang Ling could only wait for the results and pray that everything will go well as plan.

Bai Xue nodded her head and flew away after transforming into a Black Tiger. Wang Ling watched and then head for the peak of the mountain. Looking at the horizon, Wang Ling sighed and then brought out dozens of souls he kept inside a vial.

The vial could only contain six to ten souls, but he compressed dozens of souls and had them fit inside a single vial. Wang Ling devoured the souls and began recuperating.

He was melancholic for a time and after two weeks, he regained his strength and headed out. His cultivation had broken through the late-grand saint stage.

Wang Ling and Bai Xue had been together for years now. They knew some of the secrets each held within their hearts. But as the two of them separated, Wang Ling realized his words, 'a member of my family', he knew that he had gotten attached to her more than he was willing to admit.

He left for the Heaven's Will Academy after such thoughts.
