CHAPTER 26: New phase

Chapter 26: New phase.
Allison woke up in the morning to the sound of her parents screams.
"Please, leave my wife alone. Kill me instead and spare my wife", Noah said as both he and Mary were on the ground.

Allison hurried down the staircase only to see both her parents dead and a man covered completely in black towering over them. The man looked up and saw her but turned around to leave. "Wait", Allison shouted and he stopped in his tracks.

Allison reached the last step and went to stand closer to him. "Why did you kill them?"
But the man didn’t answer. "Hey! I'm talking to you".

"This might come as a shock to you but your parents were key members of a terrorist organization. My condolences". He searched her face for any sign of shock but there was none. Then, he turned to leave.

"Then take me with you". He turned around again and looked at her. "What?"

"Take me with you. Since you said that they're terrorists and you killed them then that means that you're the good guy, right?"

"You seem cool about it. What makes me so sure that you won't turn on me? I killed your parents after all".

"They're not my real parents, anyway. Look, I don't know what I did in the past. All I know is that I want to do something good in this new phase of my life. And you seem like a good chance".

She wasn't able to see it, but the man smiled behind his mask. "Okay, then. If that's what you want".
The next second, he dropped something and the room started to fill with smoke. The last thing Allison saw was the man standing before her mind went hazy and she fell. She felt herself being carried and everything went pitch black.
