Chapter 21: Break Out(II).
By now, Elan and Sunny had joined them. They were shocked and happy at the same time. Shocked, that she hadn't gone yet and happy that
they were able to say goodbye before she left. Claressa was crying and she didn't bother to wipe the tears from her face.
"Why are you doing this? Putting yourselves in possible trouble because of me? I feel like I saved the world in my past life?"

They all breathed a sigh of relief, because when they saw her crying, they all had the same thought' Did she betray us?'
Maxwell was the first to respond.

"When I first came here, I was treated like an outcast. It was even worse when I killed someone because I couldn't control my powers. When noone
wanted to be my friend, you came into my life. You helped me control my powers, and I'm enternally grateful to you for that. Ever since then, I
vowed to myself that I would do everything to help you if you ever needed it".

Jonathan continued,"As for me, it is my duty to protect you as your personal guard. You made me your friend. Besides, if I let you die, as your
guard, I will ne failing in my duty to protect you. I will protect you with my life".

Sebastian went on,"I'm the only survivor of my kingdom. Thanks to your father, I'm alive. But thanks to you, everyday feels purposeful. Claressa,
you're the reason I'm still alive".

Elan continued,"Well, your life was in danger. As your friends, you didn't expect us to just sit back and do nothing, right?"

Sunny didn't say anything and the others gave him questioning looks. He smirked."What?"
"Just kidding. You helped us to discover our potentials and hidden talents. We were witnesses on that day you found Areida dead and we know
that you acted that day out of anger. You said you save the world in your past life but you're wrong. You saved our lives."

At their words, Claressa's tears came in full force. She drew them in for a big hug and whispered to them,"Thanks for all you've done for me. I
will never forget any of you".
She let them go and walked closer to the barrier. But before she left, she looked back. She took one long look at the world and the people she
called home ever since she was born.
"Goodbye guys". And she stepped through.
