CHAPTER 18: Plans

Chapter 18: Plans.
Esmeralda summoned Maxwell, Jonathan, Sunny, Elan, Sebastian and Claressa’s closest cousin, Isla to her chambers. She then explained to
them the reason for her summon.

" I called you all here today to discuss something. In a few days’ time, my husband will be Mason an answer. Regardless of whether his answer
will be in my favor or not, I don't care. As a mother, I have to help my daughter. Everyone in this room is going to help me break my daughter
out".

They all exchanged glances as they had all been thinking about this but didn't dare voice it out. Isla stepped forward.
"Aunt, I understand what you’re trying to say. But I'm just a cousin of Caressa, where's Clark?"

"I'm still angry at my husband and son. I'm not involving him in this plan either. Even though, you're just my niece, you're still crucial to this
plan. So that aside, let's come up with something tangible".

After some deliberating here and there, they finally came up with a fool proof plan. Esmeralda had to stay with the king to prevent suspicion. As
for the guys and Isla, their main job was in the dungeon area. Isla was very familiar with the dungeon including all exits and entrances because her
father, Damien, was the head of the dungeon guards. Elan and Sunny were in charge of distracting the guards. Sebastian was to stay on lookout
while Jonathan and Maxwell were to bring her out and lead her out of there.
Once all was agreed, they immediately dispersed.

In Whisperwood forest,
"In three days’, time, Cole will be giving his answer to Mason", Cedrick answered.

"I've been so happy these days. My days in this forest are finally coming to an end", Cynthia said with a smile on her face.

"But there's one thing that has been bugging me. What if he doesn't agree with Mason's terms?"

"Why do ask that?"

"He's been undecisive lately. His wife hasn't been making things easier for him. I think with the pressure he's been getting from the queen, he's not
going to kill the princess. Even the council is against it. They've all watched her growing up".

"Well, if Cole decides not to kill her himself, we'll finish the job ourselves".

"Understood".

This will be my last upload for a while. I have a very very important exam next month so I need to study very well. I can't have undivided attention.
