"You have my permission." Ellie agreed softly, satisfied that she could have it her way.

Henry joined her on the bed again and touched her hands. "If you don't want to sleep right now, do you want something to eat? You know if you want to get back to driving you need to build your body back up."

Ellie touched her stomach. "I think," she began with amazement, "for the first time since I've been hospitalized I want food."

"How does a full three course lobster dinner sound to you? The restaurant is downstairs so all we'd have to do is take the elevator. Doesn't that sound magical for this time of night? How long has it been since someone treated you to fine dining?"

The thought of that much food made Ellie's stomach grumble, "Where's the wheelchair? I can't wait to get rolling."

"You're not going anywhere." Henry said softly. "We'll start with some corn soup. If you can take that maybe I'll try to get in some green beans or maybe a little bit of cold noodle salad with those noodle veggies."

Ellie's heart sank. She laughed loudly even though her laughs dissolved into coughs. "Fine. You are right Henry that I am getting ahead of myself."

Henry took out his phone and opened an app where he pressed in a command. A buzzer soundly loudly from somewhere inside the house wherein one of the footman came up running. He opened the door and bowed, "Sir my name is Devon and I will be serving you tonight."

Henry nodded and began to order. As he did so, Ellie marveled at the sharp planes of his face and the rippling muscle of his arms as he gestured. His night clothes were a lot looser than his well tailored business suits but at the same time they were not unflattering. His mused hair and his broad shoulder still made her wonder whether he gave good hugs.

Devon checked his watched before replying to Henry, "I don't think the chef will like being told to cook after the kitchen has been closed."

Henry rolled his eyes. "Then go tell him he's fired. I'm sure Gordon will not mind re-reading his contract to see that he is sure to be available in case of emergencies. I pay him way too much to account for anything less. Tell him I expect it to be piping hot and ready within twenty minutes. Am I being clear with you?"

Taking a military position, Devon bowed before leaving.

"Henry you know if you ever wanted to consider an alternative career, you should become an announcer." Ellie mused. "You really could rev up a crowd whenever you wanted to. It's quite a talent."

Henry grinned. "Why thank you. I mean I don't have to pay them well. I think if I occasionally ask them to do odd or challenging things, they have no reason to complain. No one is forcing them to be employed here. I do know they love me too much to leave."
