She had a soft spot for the days when he would come home from work and help her with physical therapy sessions, practice driving in the simulator he had set up for her in the gym, or simply come into her bedroom and just talk about whatever work related issue was on his mind. His thoughts were always interesting to Ellie so their discussions were always heated and moving.

Henry watched Ellie play with Madeline in her lap with a serene look and he wondered if domesticity was really suited to her. Ellie was not really the type of woman would would be satisfied as a housewife. She could easily be drowning in boredom and he would have never known. She was familiar with the city he knew, but for the most part she had spend the last couple months cooped up in his house. He doubted she had even some idea of what the floors below contained. Henry looked at her with a strained expression, "Do you want to go out today? I know that you haven't been out in a while. I am not sure if you're in too much pain to move around, but would you like to have some change in routine?"

Seeing her light up, Henry felt himself puff up as he decided he would have some fun with her tonight. He looked at her with a mock serious expression as he tried to stop himself from laughing. "I actually wanted to take a drive tonight out of the city."

Ellie's face fell. "It's going to be a Rolls Royce Ghost. Business people always have the worst taste in cars. It's going to be a boring Mercedes or the Lexus convertible that caps at ninety miles an hour. I don't want to go. I have the simulator, I can pretend to have a nice fast car."

Henry licked his lips as he felt the challenge between them begin to rise. He raised an eyebrow. "I have a couple cars might dear and tonight just for you, I'm going to drive my Pagani Huayra. Then when we hit the private track and we go for a little test run, you better hope that belt is on tight when I hit 230. I'm going to have a nice talk to you about how a stock car driver told me I look like I drive a Rolls Royce like my grandfather."
