"Xiao Mei, Why are you leaving so early? Have dinner with us today. Don't say 'no'. Do you remember you used to love eating here? Though the chef is changed, but he cooks very good. And I guess you kids needs to interact more since you met after a long time."

Mo Dunguo said as he began to push the wheelchair towards Xi Mei.

"Then, I have to trouble, Uncle for that." Xi Mei bowed polietly.

"Haha, Do you know I consider Nanny Sui like my own mother and You are Nanny Sui's granddaughter, So how can i not treat you like my daughter. Don't be too formal around me." Mo Dunguo laughed heartily.

" Uncle, Were you in case cooking?" Xi Mei asked as she pointed at the kitchen apron Mo Dunguo was wearing.

Mo Dunguo looked at the apron and spoke " Yeah I cooked something for Xiao Xung. Do you want to try it?"

Xi Mei smiled brightly as she answered " I would love to." Just then, they heard Mo Xung's loud shout " NO!"

Both Xi Mei and Mo Dunguo were startled, they looked at Mo Xung at the same time.

"*Clears throat* I mean I have tried his cooking already, it feels awful. So, You don't have to eat it." Mo Xung could feel his father's death glare.

"*Sigh* That was really long ago, You haven't even tasted the one i made today, what if i have improved. " Mo Dunguo said before looking at the maid.

"Go and bring the two bowls of dishes from his room."

The maid bowed before placing the pickle container in the kitchen then dashing ofd towards Mo Xung's room.

When she came back, All of them were sitting in kitchen table. The maid placed the bowls at the table before bowing and leaving.

Mo Dunguo placed the bowls in front of Mo Xung and Xi Mei. "Is this somekind of vegetable curry?"

"He said it is Chicken Curry. But I really doubt it. I am still warning you not to eat it." Mo Xung said as he peered at the no-where-near-the-actual-chicken curry.

"Chicken Curry?" Xi Mei's brows shot up. As a person who loves to cook, her curiosity was piqued instantly as to why the curry had no visible chicken in it and was called chicken curry.

" Can I try it first?" She asked. " Of course." Mo Dunguo became a little nervous.

The maid nearby came and put the curry in a small bowl for Xi Mei. "Thank you" Xi Mei thanked her before raising the spoon to try it.

"WAIT!! " Mo Xung interrupted again. As expected Xi Mei's hand stopped and she looked at him to continue further.

"Are you serious? I already told you that his cooking is awful. Why would you want to try even after knowing it?" Mo Xung said as he took the bowl and grabbed the spoon to take it away from her.

But Xi Mei was grabbing it tightly. She didn't bother Mo Xung and and quickly tasted the curry. She was silent after eating it making both Mo father and son duo nervous.

"Did you in case put sugar instead of salt?" Xi Mei asked tilting her head looking at Mo Dunguo.

Mo Xung also looked at his father, making Mo Dunguo feel embarrassed. "Oh was that sugar?" He took a spoon and tasted the curry.

A very sweet feeling spread in his tastebuds. Then, A blast of various spices hit his tongue altogether making him cough hard.

His face twitched as though he ate something disgusting.

"*cough* Xiao Mei, I am sorry that you needed to taste this because of me. I noticed I really put sugar instead of salt and a lots of unnecessary spices But I am amazed that you were unaffected."

Mo Dunnguo said as he gulped down a full glass of water. "Actually, I am a foodie. I really like to eat various dishes and always try to cook it. So, In the process of mastering it, I made a lot of mistake worse that this. This is particularly nothing."

Xi Mei chuckled as she answered. Mo Xung's brows shot up "You know how to cook?" After a while, he feels his father's gaze, his expression was like 'Are you an idiot?'

Mo Xung was confused why he will look at him like that. Just then, He heard Xi Mei's soft voice " Yeah, I love to cook. But I am still amateur. Whenever I have free time, i would ask Grandma to teach me to cook new recipes."

Then, Only Mo Xung realizes why his father was glaring at him. She was Nanny Sui's granddaughter, A brilliant cook , who even won various cooking contest when she was young, So it was not shocking that Xi Mei could also cook.

Mo Xung choosed to change the topic " Father, Shouldn't you call the chef back to make dinner for us? Or Are you planning to feed us this in the dinner? If that is the case, I am sorry but i will be out."

Listening to his words Mo Dunguo shot daggers at his son, before looking at Xi Mei " Xiao Mei, Make yourself comfortable till the Chef cooks the dinner,okay? Also, I wanted to ask, Since Nanny Sui isn't at home, Are you intending to be home alone by yourself?"

Mo Xung was also curious. Xi Mei nodded her head " Yes, I am going to live alone until Grandma returns back."

Just as Mo Dunguo was going to say something, Mo Xung interrupted with a shout "But that's dangerous!!!."

Both of them looked at Mo Xung startled by his sudden loud interruption. Mo Dunguo gaze return back to Xi Mei

" He is right. It can be dangerous since you are not even an adult. Isn't there anyone like a close relative where you can temporarily reside in?"

Xi Mei shook her head " No, There aren't. Actually I came in this city just this year. So, I don't know anyone in particular. And Grandma remains always busy, so it's hard for her to closely socialize with others. Thus, I can only stay alone. Don't worry. I will be fine."

"Is it so? You can-" Again just as Mo Dunguo was going to say something, Mo Xung interrupted " You can stay at our place."

Yet again, Both of them looked at him totally dumbfounded.
