Beyond Gods 46 Training Camp Helicopter

The alarm clock went off ringing loudly startling Johan and Luisa awake.

It was 3:00 am.

Groggily, Johan reached over and pressed a button on the clock to stop it from ringing.

Luisa sat up in bed and stretched letting out a yawn.

"I guess this is it," said Johan, "training day."

"Did he say how long it would be?," asked Luisa.

"No," said Johan, "but I will be back babe. Go to sleep. I'll wake you before I leave."

Johan sat up, shifting closer to Luisa, gently grasped her forehead and kissed it gently.

"I am not tired," said Luisa, "I'll make breakfast while you clean yourself up and get ready. "

"Thanks," said Johan.

Johan walked into the bedroom's washroom and cleaned up, changed and made sure he had packed everything he needed for Kru Bu's training camp. He then walked into the kitchen, to find that coffee, french toast and eggs and bacon was laid out on the eating table. Luisa sat at the table, waiting patiently for Johan.

"Wow," said Johan, "that was quick."

Luisa smiled, "My secret is pre-made microwaveable food. I know all the good ones, I just microwave it and it is done."

Johan sat next to Luisa and said, "and because it was made by you it tastes so much better."

He quickly scarfed down the food, kissed Luisa goodbye and headed to Lanna's Muay Boran gym. The suns had still not risen and the streets were barren because at this odd hour even gangs had gone to sleep.

Johan arrived at the gym to find that three students had arrived before him. One was a familiar and the other two he had never seen before.

"Hey Johan," said Sun.

"Hey," said Johan, "you're coming to train?"

"Of course," said Sun, "you think I'd miss something like this?"

"Are you going to introduce us Sun," said a tall scrawny bald teenager with green eyes.

"Ahh yes," said Sun, "This Johan. This teenager is Patric, and this other fellow Alexy."

"Are you the kid Sun has been raving about from his gym that has been beating all those other gyms in fights?," said a black haired Russian male in his late 30s sporting a beard.

"Yes, this is him Alexy," said Sun,"His name is Johan."

"I'd like to try my hand against you sometime," said Alexy, "unofficially of course. Since we are from the same gym, we can't fight officially. I do pretty well myself."

"You'll have to arrange it with the Guangs," said Johan, "I make rent through fights."

"Scared?," said Alexy with a laugh.

"Quit it Alexy," said Sun.

"Well if the kids not all talk," said Alexy, "he will back up his reputation. A little match never hurt anyone."

"I only fight for money," said Johan, "I don't need to prove myself."

"Humph," said Alexy, "cowards make excuses."

Johan clenched his fist frustrated. However, he didn't want to cause ill feelings with a guy he possibly be spending the next couple of weeks with. Otherwise, he would have gladly taken up the challenge.

At that moment, he gym doors swung open and out walked Kru Bu. He took out keys and locking the door behind him.

"My ex-students that are now in sects that are coming should arrive soon. Three of them decided to join us on this training exhibition. You will be paired with one this entire trip. Stay close to someone one of them at all times," said Kru Bu, "they'll protect you if anything dangerous appears during our voyage to the location."

"Why are there so few people attending?," asked Johan.

"Not everyone has the discipline to attain swords," said Kru Bu, "which reminds me."

Kru Bu touched a blue sapphire ring on his hand and a pair of sheathed swords attached to a sash appeared.

Johan let out a gasp and said, "how did you do that?"

"It is an inter-spatial ring," said Kru Bu, "not common around here, and non-existent on earth, but it is very common in the upper realms. It allows you to store items in a sort of pocket dimension so that you don't have to carry them around. Better than a travel bag, since you don't feel the weight of what you carry and it has a much larger capacity than is possible with a bag."

"Incredible," said Johan gazing in awe at the ring Kru Bu wore on his hand.

"Looking Glass Kingdom is just a tiny spec in a vast multiverse," said Kru Bu, "perhaps, you'll get to leave this place once you join a sect and get to learn about the many mysteries it contains."

Kru Bu handed Johan the swords, and said, "Here are your replacement swords. You'll need them in case we run into trouble. You can pay me for the replacements later."

Johan nodded as he put on the sash.

"VRRROOOOOOSSHHHHHH!!!!!"

A large wind hit Johan and company from above. Looking up they saw a helicopter illuminated by its headlights hovering above them in between the buildings. A long rope ladder was dropped from it and Kru Bu started climbing up the ladder.

"Well," said Kru Bu looking back, "climb in, this is our ride. My ex-students are on the helicopter."

Johan climbed after Kru Bu with the other students following.

Upon getting into the helicopter, Kru Bu shook the occupants hands said, "it is good to see you again my friends. Let me do introductions. Firstly, Master Kiev, of the Bladed Leaf Sect. He has recently attained Dao Seed Realm in his cultivation."

Johan looked up to see a pale white man with piercing blue eyes and long black hair tied in a pony tail. He wore a long dark green robe with a silver leaf embroidered on his breast.

"This is Master Fur of the Fiery Winds Sect," said Kru Bu, "He has also attained to the Dao Seed Realm."

Johan looked to Master Fur. He was bald, black and wearing a white gown which outlined his muscular frame. A red flame tattooed under his right eye.

"And finally the pilot," said Kru Bu, "one of my best and most adept students ever who started off as a officer in the army and one of the director's pulled strings to have her taken in by a well known sect in these parts. The beautiful Master Picklesworth, of the Chaos Crystal Sect. She is at the Yuan Opening Realm now I believe. Truly a prodigy. It was very kind of her to take time away from her prestigious sect and bless us with her presence."

"But that's Jade to you guys," said the pilot looking back.

Johan let out a gasp upon seeing her face. She had silky long black hair and smooth attractive feminine features. She was older, but very familiar looking.

"JADE! IS THAT YOU!?," said Johan.

"Do you know her Johan?," asked Kru Bu.

Jade's eye's widened in surprise apon hearing Johan's name and the helicopter swerved.

"AhhhH!," yelped Alexy, Patric and Sun.

"We went to school together," said Johan.

Johan remembered that Jade didn't know him in this time line.

Jade stabilized the helicopter. In a cold, strained voice, she said, "I remember you. We went to the same high school on earth. The Universe really is a small place. I didn't think anyone else was brought here from that area."

"Crazy coincidence ...," said Johan, "the world really is a small place ..."
