Behind your Mask is a Beautiful Smile 4 Chapter 4- First kiss and Confessions

Lan Lan's illogical request irritated Huan Hei, "Don't go too far with your arrogance. What you're doing is meaningless. You've already gone back on your words. What makes you think you have any right to demand anything from us?"

Lan Lan smirked, "If you don't do as I say, that means you two are unfamiliar with each other and she's a fake. If that is so, then I will be your girlfriend from this day onwards."

He angrily chanted, "you!"

Ya Nuo pulled his arm lightly and stopped him from saying anything further. She smiled mischievously, "Is that all? You only had one chance to ask for proof, and you're asking something this simple? If you want to watch our intimate acts, I won't stop you."

Huan Hei's eyes opened widely as he felt something warm and soft touching his lips. Yan Nuo closed her eyes as their lips touched and she initiated the kiss more than once. Their lips met each other over and over until their lips turned numb. He didn't realize it, but his arms circled around her waist and brought her closer to his embrace. After their lips separated, Ya Nuo smiled and pinched his chin, "I'll do more with you later."

His heart melted from her sweet words and revealed a rare smile, "Okay."

Ya Nuo wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his chest as she faced towards Lan Lan's direction, "His lips were delicious like always. Because of you, I get to have dessert before my brunch. Now~ I guess I'll begin first in expressing my love for him."

Lan Lan's face turned red from seeing their earlier act, "Why even announce it? Just say it. I'll love to see how much and well you know him."

Ya Nuo lifted her head and met Huan Hei's, "Hei, we've been together for a long time and no words could describe how special you are to me. When we first met, you gave me a bottle of homemade lemon tea that tasted very delicious. Even though to you the lemon tea is just a drink, to me, it meant more than that. From the day we've met to the day that I've decided to move out on my own, you've always been supportive and remained by my side. You never questioned anything I do nor asked me for my reasons. I remember asking you why you were always the first to support my decisions and never once questioned my decisions. Your response was that you will always be there for me and when I feel ready to tell you anything, you will listen. Around you, I never had to pretend or put my guards up. I could smile, relax, and enjoy myself without having to care about what others think of me. I promise you that as long as you are willing, I will always be there with you."

Huan Hei had long forgotten that Ya Nuo was pretending about being his girlfriend. After hearing her confession, he smiled handsomely and hugged her tightly. "Thank you." he whispered. She returned his hug and waited for him to let go. After 5 minutes of silence, she patted his back and said, "Hei, it's your turn...."

He quickly released her from his embrace and coughed awkwardly, "Right.. my turn."

He looked her in the eye and held her hand, "I remember how amazed I was when I first saw you running around the tracks under the radiant sun. Just like the present, you never failed to amaze me. Your personality and straightforwardness is what made you the most attractive. Even though you don't explain or tell me much about yourself, I never felt the need to ask you anything. When I am with you, I feel safe and secured. It is alright even if I don't know much about you because I can always tell you about me. I'm willing to choose you over anything any day as long as you need me there for you. There was a time where I was walking back home and saw you running by yourself in the middle of a rainstorm. Instead of approaching you, I stayed from a distance and watched you. The reason why I didn't interrupt you is because that was the first time I ever saw you cry and I didn't know what I should do at that moment. When I saw you stop and sat on the ground, I swore to myself that I will become someone who could be your support and you can lean on when things occur in the future. Like what you just said, I too, will always be by your side when you need me."

Lan Lan's mouth was left opened because she couldn't believe her ears and eyes. If the kisses from earlier wasn't enough to convince her, the two speeches just now definitely did. After the confession was over, Ya Nuo was spacing out for a bit before coming back to her senses and hugged him. "To be honest, you've become my weakness." she whispered and closed her eyes.

Lan Lan: "Enough! The two of you need to stop acting all lovey mushy in front of me! I may have lost today, but remember my following words.The moment you two break it off, I will be Huan Hei's girlfriend!"

Ya Nuo grinned and said confidently, "Sorry, but that day won't ever come because we will end up married and grow old together. If you insist on waiting for my Hei, then you will only end up being a white hair granny."

Lan Lan bit her lips, "You!"

Ya Nuo didn't bother staying and listening to Lan Lan's selfish needs. She smiled dazzlingly and held Huan Hei's hands, "Hei~ I'm hungry, let's go eat lots of delicious food then dessert~"

Huan Hei nodded and followed Ya Nuo's lead while Lan Lan was raging out curses at them. After the two of them left, a man wearing sunglasses, black beanie, short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and combat boots grinned evilly from a distance. "Found you."
