The spinning special plastic blew in with the wind, hitting the man and was immediately repelled, but Li Yan swiftly followed!

Having exhausted his patience in the knife duel with Abaningma, he had no interest in another round.

Wei Dan led Li Yan to the edge of the building, in front of a huge hole that had been broken through the wall.

Outside was the murky darkness of night, occasionally lit by various glowing radioactive flora and fauna, as a dry, cold wind whistled in through the holes.

Someone wheeled in a metal rack over ten meters long, displaying an array of hefty firearms, marked by a branding of a black yak tossing its horns and bellowing.

The first weapon to catch Li Yan's eye was a large caliber sniper rifle with a rough design, pitch black all over, its barrel extending just over a meter, edges and angles hinting at a somber and wild nature.

Wei Dan's calloused fingers grazed the rifle as he introduced it to Li Yan, “Just arrived, the new king of the Wild Yak Series, RS107, a semi-automatic sniper rifle that uses 30mm high-explosive armor-piercing rounds. It holds a magazine of five rounds, features a dual-chamber recoil mitigator, comes with a detachable spiked bipod, standard type-III accessory rails, and is equipped with Pompeii Armaments' latest optical rangefinding aiming system…”

“That…,” Li Yan scratched his eyebrow, “can you simplify that?”

Wei Dan looked somewhat disdainfully at Li Yan, “This thing is designed to take on armored tanks, missile launchers, even low-flying fighters. It can easily penetrate 50mm of special steel plating within a two kilometer range. Li Yan thought for a while. He didn't really covet the RS107 sniper rifle. The reason was simple; a 90% specialization in firearms was nearly an impossible condition for him.

Specialization is easy to get started with; one could progress through it by consuming a few fruits. But to break through the peak and bottleneck, there was no shortcut, not even a reliable way to do it. Back then on the Renchen battlefield, Li Yan managed to boost his Ancient Martial Arts Specialization to 90%, and that was with insight and opportunity–things that come by chance, not by searching.

“Powerful, easy to handle, the rest doesn't matter.”

Wei Dan nodded upon hearing this, sorted through the rack by number, and selected three guns for Li Yan.

“Try these three.”

A rifle, a shotgun, and an automatic light machine gun.

After trying these three firearms, Li Yan could clearly feel that the guns produced by the Raine Brothers had a lot in common with those made by the renowned arms companies in his world.
