Chapter 277: Chapter 3 Wandering Deity

There were a total of four vehicles, all beaten up, with the lead green jeep patched up with iron sheets all over, its doors and the front covered in graffiti, driven by a man with unwashed dreadlocks.

And in the passenger seat, there was a bald giant with wrists as big as pears, clutching his shoulders and staring menacingly.

Ever since the two of them came into view, the bald man hadn't even deigned to glance at Li Yan, who leaned on his motorcycle, his gaze riveted on Afafu. His crimson tongue licked his lips, his expression greedy and ugly.

The sight of Afafu's face drove the thugs in the car into even more raucous jeering.

“Da da da da da da~”

The carbine spat out tongues of fire crazily, leaving a row of bullet holes near Li Yan's feet.

Li Yan stood up, his Luger Pistol aimed at the jeep and he pulled the trigger, but the distance was far beyond the pistol's range; it couldn't even penetrate the jeep's metal skin, and his futile resistance provoked another round of laughter from the thugs in the vehicle.

Li Yan, however, was oblivious and continued to shoot leisurely.

Biting her lip, Afafu grabbed the swaddling cloth and, using a belt, tied the baby to her chest. She kicked over a basin, disregarding her thin clothing, nimbly flipped over, and mounted the Dodge Tomahawk. Clamping the motorcycle with her long legs, she looked back and shouted, “Get on the bike.”

Without looking back, Li Yan pointed at Afafu with his idle left hand, “If you dare to drive my bike, I'll kill you.”

“You!” Afafu was on the verge of tears.

The senseless shooting instead whipped up the sadistic amusement of the car thugs, and considering Afafu's presence, they laughed and hooted, firing into the sky and whistling at Li Yan.

“Try hitting when you're closer.”

No sooner had Afafu spoken than the sound of “click-click” came from the bolt of Li Yan's gun.

“You, you're out of bullets?”

The woman said in astonishment.

Li Yan was expressionless and silent.

The bald thug in the jeep was almost in tears from laughter.

Blazed up on marijuana, the bald hulk was somewhat out of his mind. He drooled and whistled, reaching out to slap the shoulder of the dreadlocked driver next to him, whispering something that made the driver burst into loud laughter. Suddenly, with a 'poof,' a dark mass shattered the windshield and smashed directly onto the grimacing bald head, splattering blood everywhere.

“Aaaah~”

The dirt-braided driver screamed as if he'd seen a ghost.

The bald giant's head was a gruesome sight, a mix of bone shards, flesh, and metal pieces, and in his eye socket was embedded… a spring?!

A gun's spring?!
