Chapter 140: That Unspeakable Feeling
Lin Yu rubbed his temples, his head aching at Su Wan's reaction.
For some reason, everything was fine at first. How did it suddenly become like this?
This was obviously not what Lin Yu wanted to see.
He continued to guide her patiently. “Su Wan, do you know how much the incident on the Internet has affected you? You're just pretending not to care. In fact, you care more than anyone else. You're sad too. I can tell.”

When Lin Yu stood up again, he realized that his back was covered in cold sweat.
He didn't have much of an expression on his face, but Su Wan could still tell that he was sad and upset. She was so familiar with that gaze.
But Su Wan couldn't compromise. She had to stand her ground.
The more carefree the person who was liked, the more suffering the person who liked them would suffer. There was no such thing as love. It was just a mutual agreement. They were both willing to go through it all.

Su Wan went downstairs. Just as she was walking slowly by the road, a van suddenly sped past her.
It startled her.
