"My name is Li Bingbing, Meimei's one and only best friend. It's nice to finally meet you." Li Bingbing smiled.

Just by looking at Li Bingbing, Nian Jiezhen can already tell that she might be crazier than Xia Meilin.

It would be better if she maintains her distance away from her. "Likewise, my name is Nian Jiezhen."

"That looks so painful, did Meimei slapped you hard?"

Li Bingbing laughed lightly, "Don't worry, I was been slapped by her too. It proves that she has accepted you as her friend."

"It's not nonsense, I am just stating the truth. You mark your friends this way," grinned Li Bingbing.

Xia Meilin decided to ignore what she said, "Anyway, where is gege?"

"Ah, Sisi went out to buy something." Li Bingbing said before she turned to her daughter and gently rocked her by.

Nian Jiezhen narrowed her eyes as she observed Li Bingbing quietly. From the look of it, Li Bingbing was lying.

She just avoided Xia Meilin's gaze so it was really obvious for her. People who lie usually tend to avoid eye contact after all.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"Ah, it looks like it's time for you to go." Li Bingbing said as she turned back to Xia Meilin. She smiled at her and blew her a kiss, "Congratulations on your wedding with the boss, sweetheart."

"Thank you, Bingbing." Xia Meilin let out a gentle smile. "See you later."

After the call ended, Nian Jiezhen handed the bouquet of baby blue and white peonies to the bride before she headed toward the door.

As the door was opened for Xia Meilin, her eyes went wide in surprise when she saw Xia Sinian standing in front of her in a black retro suit with a light blue square scarf.

"I've come to pick up the bride." He said with a soft smile on his lips.

Xia Meilin got teary underneath her veil as she said in a choked-up voice, "Sinian-ge…"

"I can't miss my sister's wedding." He offered his arm to her, "If you cry, you'll ruin your makeup."

A beautiful archway was decorated with fresh flowers. Meanwhile, the winding path that led the archway was covered with the petals of white roses.

Nian Jiezhen wasn't sitting together with Ren Shiyuan but she could clearly see the way he looked at her when she entered and walked down the aisle.

She couldn't help but think of having such a ceremony with him.

Jing Wanru on the other hand, watched her daughter, she was really hoping that Lu Yifeng and Xia Meilin's wedding will touch her heart. She wanted to see Nian Jiezhen in a white wedding dress after all.

As the ceremony went on, everyone listened to the heart-warming exchange of wedding vows between the two couples, Lu Yifeng and Xia Meilin.

Nian Jiezhen noticed that Ren Shiyuan kept on looking her way and she couldn't help but blush shyly because of it.

Ah... She knew what he was thinking about that moment... He also wanted to have a wedding just like that... or maybe more extravagant.

Thinking about it now, Nian Jiezhen thought that having such a wedding was not bad but... She still preferred to have one later.

At the reception hall, while others were busy congratulating Lu Yifeng and Xia Meilin, Nian Jiezhen was standing on the side of the hall, acting like a wallflower. Her gaze was towards Ren Shiyuan. He was being surrounded by a group of women.

Jing Wanru went to her daughter and smiled, "Have you decided?"

Nian Jiezhen knew what she was talking about but her decisions remained unchanged, "My decision remains the same."

Her mother ended up sighing, "You'll change your mind eventually."

She may have said that but she knew how stubborn her daughter was. If she has made up her mind on something, it will be hard to change her mind.

Jing Wanru decided to leave her daughter there, it was pointless if she tried talking it out more on her.

Not long, Nian Jiezhen noticed Ren Shiyuan approaching her.

"What's a beautiful woman like you doing here?" He let out a charming smile.

"Standing, obviously." She replied with a blank look on her face. "Are you done talking with those women?"

He ended up grinning at what she said, "Are you jealous?"

"Who told you you can smile?" She glared at him.

Maybe it was her pregnancy hormones but Nian Jiezhen was really being moody lately.

"I'm sorry, no smiling. I'm not smiling." He tried to suppress his smile.

She huffed and averted her gaze from him.

"They were just asking for an autograph." He tried explaining to her.

"I didn't ask."

He couldn't help but chuckle. His wife was being adorable. It was the first time he saw her get jealous like that.

"Jiezhen, should we start planning our wedding?" He stood beside her.

She turned and looked at him with a faint blush seen on her cheeks, "Not yet."

Of course, he was already expecting that answer, despite that, he still wanted to try asking her about it.

"When?"

"Until our child is old enough to be a ring bearer or a flower girl."

He turned to her with a pout, "That's long!"

Nian Jiezhen turned to him and smiled, "I never said that it's going to be short."

Ren Shiyuan ended up sulking.

As she saw him that way, she suddenly remembered Xia Meilin's words.

Ren Shiyuan was indeed doing so many things for her... He was always the one adjusting for her.

Nian Jiezhen leaned and hugged Ren Shiyuan to the side which made him look at her.

Whenever his wife initiated such sweet actions, it always melted him. He enjoyed it very much.

He stopped sulking and in the end, he hugged her back.

"Shiyuan... I want to eat ice cream right now."

"Should we ditch this party?"

"I'm asking you to get me ice cream." She ended up pouting.

"There's no ice cream in the dessert section."

She pursed her lips, "Fine... Let's ditch this party."
