Nian Jiezhen followed after him, "Are your parents at home?"

"No, we just want to ask them a few questions in hope that they can help us," Jeremy explained.

Nian Jiezhen noticed a beautiful painting before her. "That painting..."

"It's beautiful." Nian Jiezhen smiled at her.

"My dad has more painting in his study," Darcy said with a proud look on her face. "I would love to show it to you but sadly, my dad doesn't like anyone entering his study without his permission that's why it's always locked."

Nian Jiezhen suddenly felt a bit suspicious because of what the girl said. "Why is that?"

"Dad loves to paint and he doesn't want anyone to carelessly touch his paintings," Darcy explained.

"I see. Maybe we could look at those paintings once your father arrive?"

Darcy shrugged, "If he'll allow then sure."

"Excuse me, can I use the CR?" Jeremy asked.

"Sure. Just go straight after going out of this room and turn left."

While Nian Jiezhen was distracting the girl, Jeremy went to investigate the place.

He came into Alex's study and found it locked but for someone who knew how to pick the lock, it wasn't a hard thing for him to enter the room.
