Her tall frame and slender body were like of a Victoria secret model. Her black eyes, like the night sky, were calm and emotionless. She has a long, wavy black hair, so smooth and silky, almost as if it was tailored from silk fabric.

She looked at her tall and handsome cousin who was standing before her. Lu Yifeng was wearing a black business suit. His eyes were dark, his lips were pale and thin and his nose slender. A prominent jaw curved gracefully around and the strength of his neck showed in the twining cords of muscle that shaped his entire body. His face was void of emotions. Other men paled in comparison to him. One look and both women and men swooned at the sight of him no matter their sexual preferences. His handsome features were captivating everyone.

The majestic air around him made everyone hold their breath. Lu Yifeng looked so different in person. It had been so long since she last saw him and yet every time she meet him, he would always look more handsome than before but the gentle expression he had when they were kids were gone.

"Brother Yifeng, come in." Nian Jiezhen said with a beaming smile.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for troubling you." His deep voice melted Nian Jiezhen's heart and she couldn't help but sigh inwardly at how affected she was whenever it came to him.

"No, no, it's fine. You can always come and stay here." She couldn't help but feel glad that Lu Yifeng was in a business trip and that he decided to stay with her while he was there.

When Nian Jiezhen and Lu Yifeng entered the living room, a foreign woman was sitting by the sofa.

"Oh yeah, brother Yifeng, meet my friend, Sara Cancio. She'll be staying here for tonight."

Sara's eyes glistened when she saw the handsome man beside Nian Jiezhen, "Oh my, I didn't expect you to have such a handsome cousin!"

Nian Jiezhen blushed shyly, "Sara! Anyway, don't mind her, ge ge. I will prepare some dinner for you.

Lu Yifeng nodded a bit, "Okay." After that he pulled out his phone, "Please excuse me, I'll just make a call."

The expression in his eyes softened up as he left the room.

Nian Jiezhen noticed the expression on Lu Yifeng's eyes and she couldn't help but be curious on who he'd be calling.

Maybe it was his mother? He would usually show such expression when it came to his mother.

When Lu Yifeng's call went through, he heard the soft, sleepy of a woman, "Hello?"

"Ah... I'm sorry if I woke you up."

Xia Meilin's eyes shot open when she heard Lu Yifeng's voice from the other line. She was about to get up when she suddenly felt someone hugging her.

She turned her head and saw Little Melon, her son, sleeping beside her. "Wait. I'm just... going to go out of the room." She whispered while trying to gently move Little Melon's arm and leg from her.

Lu Yifeng couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle, "Xiao Gua's with you?"

"Who else could it be? I only have two boys that are allowed to sleep with me." She chuckled as she whispered. She made Little Melon hug a teddy bear instead before she went out of her room. "How's your trip?"

"I just arrived."

"Then you should rest. What time is it there?"

"Ten in the evening."

"Oh, it's seven hours difference eh." She smiled, "You should get some rest, Mr. Lu. You need to replenish your strength for tomorrow."

"Yes ma'am."

"Lu Yifeng, dinner's ready." Nian Jiezhen said from the dining hall.

"Got it." Lu Yifeng responded casually to Nian Jiezhen.

Xia Meilin narrowed her eyes when she heard a woman's voice, "Who's there with you?"

"My cousin." He honestly replied.

"Your cousin? Then why is she there with you?"

"She's living here in Milan. I'm going to stay with her while I'm here."

Xia Meilin couldn't help but furrow her brows, "You're going to stay with her?"

Hearing the change in the tone of her voice, Lu Yifeng suddenly felt that something was wrong, "Is everything alright there?"

"Why yes, yes! Everything is fine here, darling!" She was glaring at the poor vase in front of her as if that vase was Lu Yifeng.

"..." Why did she suddenly became mad at him? Lu Yifeng was confused.
