They were currently walking towards the bus stop.

"I'll try." Nian Jiezhen replied. Even if she wanted to go, she had already decided to go back to work next week.

"If you're going to come, wear one of those dresses that I chose for you, okay?" He said with a charming smile on his face.

Nian Jiezhen ended up smiling a bit because of what he said, "Okay."

Since she witnessed Ren Shiyuan's talent in choosing the perfect clothes for others, she didn't mind wearing one of the dresses that he chose for her. But at that moment, Nian Jiezhen wasn't in the mood to admire him. She was feeling so sad and depressed that she just wanted to drink it away. She turned to Ren Shiyuan. "Xiao Xi."

Ren Shiyuan blinked a few times because of the way she called him, he turned to look at her when he noticed the sudden change in her voice. "Yes?"

She forced out a smile, "Let's pass by a bar and go get some drink."

He blinked a few times, "Huh?"

"It's okay if you don't want to." She chuckled a bit when she suddenly remembered that Ren Shiyuan was a model. "I'll go there after I drop you."

Ren Shiyuan narrowed his eyes, "I can't allow a girl like you to go into a bar without a companion."

Nian Jiezhen finally turned to him, "You can't go drinking, Xiao Xi, you're a model. I'm pretty sure that your manager won't like it if he or she finds out that you got yourself drunk."

"Who said that I'll go get myself drunk?" He lightly flicked her forehead, "I'm just going to accompany you."

Nian Jiezhen pouted as she rubbed her forehead lightly.

"Besides, I'm pretty sure that I'm a better drinker than you." Ren Shiyuan said with a grin.

She huffed, "Oh really? I don't think so."

"Ah, are you challenging me, princess?" He smirked playfully at her.

"I would love to have a drinking contest with you but sadly, you're not allowed to get yourself drunk, or else who would bring us home?" She lightly laughed. "Besides, you're not allowed to drink, remember?"

Ren Shiyuan crossed his arms and pouted. He was a good drinker and his alcohol tolerance was high but since he was in his female disguise, he needed to get his act together.

Nian Jiezhen chuckled when she saw him pout. He looked so adorable when he did. She hugged his arm and started dragging him to another direction instead. "I'm going to get myself drunk so take care of me after, okay?"

Ren Shiyuan chuckled lightly at that, "Why do you suddenly want to go for a drink?"

"Drinking will mend my broken heart."

He raised a brow, "Broken heart? A beautiful girl like you got dumped by someone?"

She smiled a bit. "Yeah… the man I love is married so… I basically got dumped by him even if he didn't say those words."

When he heard her words, he realized who she was talking about. "The man you love… is it Lu Yifeng?"

She lowered her head, "Is it that obvious?"

"Yeah, it is."

She never once cried her feelings out even after learning about Lu Yifeng's status. She knew how to control her feelings well and aside from that, she never liked the feeling whenever she cried but for some reason, her tears started welling up in her eyes when she remembered Lu Yifeng with his own family.

"He is your..." Ren Shiyuan trailed off when he saw how much Nian Jiezhen was trying to keep herself from crying. He could already see the tears in her eyes but she refused to let them fall.

"You know what, let's enjoy this night together, shall we?" He raised her chin and made her look at him. He let out a genuine smile at her.

"I'll give you a special treatment tonight by spending my whole night with you, okay?" He wiped the tears from the side of her eyes with his thumb.

He would usually not care about how others would feel. He would usually turn a blind eye whenever he saw the hardships of others. He was not a good and kind man, but for some reason, he couldn't ignore Nian Jiezhen.

He thought that... their situation was somewhat similar. They both have feelings for someone who was married and at that moment, they both were feeling down.

Even if he was rejected by Xia Meilin a couple of times already, he was already used with it but what made him hurt was when he finally saw how close Xia Meilin was with Lu Yifeng. At that moment, it finally sank into him that she was really married to someone else... but that didn't mean he would give up on her. He didn't care even if he has to destroy her family when he would successfully make Xia Meilin leave her own family the moment he made her fell for him. He was a persistent man and he was not going to give up on her that easily.

Nian Jiezhen's situation was similar to his and because of that, he decided to help her. He could make her seduce Lu Yifeng away from Xia Meilin and while she was at it, he would make Xia Meilin fall for him. It was like hitting two birds in one stone, all he has to do was to convince Nian Jiezhen in doing his plans.
