As she watched his receding back, she coughed out weakly, "I-I would g-get you b-back!"
With tears falling down her cheeks, she hit her thighs hard hoping that the pain would help her in getting her focus back .
Wiping her tears away, she kept telling herself, "I would definitely pay them back . "

Back in the car, Kai Xin gripped her pants tightly as she whispered, "I would pay them back . "
From the corner of his eyes, DX glanced at her and noticed that she was thinking about something .
She had been quiet the entire journey and it worried him . It felt as if she was about to be taken away from him .
Once he was sure that it was safe to stop, he pulled over .
Taking her cold hand in his, he asked, "Do you want to go home, Kara?"
Kai Xin shook her head . She did not want to deal with her family at the moment .
He held her face in his right palm as he asked gently, "Let's go to my place, alright?"
She nodded as she rubbed her right cheek against his warm palm .
