As for Callum, he took one of the cars that his men drove and used it to send Ghost and Lin back to Grandfather Luo's house .
Throughout the journey, Lin kept fidgeting in her seat and it was obvious that she was uncomfortable with the two of them . Ghost was sitting at the back with her but she kept shifting further and further away from him .
She did not even want to look at any of them .
After a while, uncomfortable with the silence, Callum tried to start a conversation, "Lin, is it? That's a cute name . . . And I think you're very cute, like my Guang Ying here…"
He knew that despite his calm expression, Ghost was deeply hurt by his mother's rejection . He wanted to lighten up the mood for those two, and other than talking, he had no idea how else was he supposed to do that .
"Guang Ying…" thought Lin when she heard that name but she did not reply to Callum . Mr . Ye used the name earlier and even though she thought that it was a familiar name, she could not recall where she heard it from .
Instead of being offended by her silence, Callum merely smiled and continued to talk .
"Guang Ying is going back to his place to get some clothes and to get some things ready… The house that he's staying at now has a lot of people, and he's worried that you might be uncomfortable with that . So, we won't be lingering there for long . Once he got his stuff, we would go to my apartment . There's only me and Guang Ying there . You'd be staying with us for a while…Don't worry . There's a room for you too… It's just a little empty at the moment, but you can decorate it with whatever you want . Just let me know or if I'm not there, tell Guang Ying . . . we would then buy it for you . "
Once he finished talking, he glanced at the rearview mirror to take a look at her reaction .
Lin still did not say anything . She just kept looking at her fingers . In her heart, she kept hoping for Ye Tian to wake up earlier so that Mr . Ye could bring her home . She already missed her little bunnies at home . . . and her dolls .

However, she did not cry . Instead, she just clenched her fists tightly and kept telling herself to breathe in and out . She wanted to be brave for her "Big Brother" so that he would be proud of her .
From the fragments of memories, she knew that she had a child before, but she did not know what happened to her child . She knew a few things . . . like how the child was a boy, and that she called him "Xiao Ying" . She knew that she loved him very much and that her son loved her back too .
She did not remember how old was he, nor did she remember how long had it been since they parted .
And it made her wonder what happened to her son, and if he was alright . One of her memories showed a young boy crying his heart out as he begged for something . She could not hear what he was crying about, but she knew that she was looking at her son .
It made her wonder if she had abandoned her son or if he got lost . . .
Lin closed her eyes as she thought about her son, "Xiao Ying, did you eat well?"

When they were at the Grandfather Luo's house, Ghost explained the matter briefly to his grandfather . However, he did not include any details about Luo Han or Ye Tian . No matter what, they were Grandfather Luo's family and people who the old man loved dearly before .
As for Callum, Ghost had left him in the car with Lin while he went back into the house to pack .
"Is it true? Your mother is alive? Come! Bring me to her!" said Grandfather Luo with an excited tone . When he heard that Ghost's mother was alive, he was sincerely happy for them . For years, he had expected the worst, so when he heard the news, he wanted to see her at once .
One, he wanted to apologize to her for failing to protect her and her son . Secondly, he wanted to thank her for giving him the greatest grandson in the world .
When his grandfather tried to drag him out of the house, Ghost stopped him and said, "Ye Ye… She's not… well . She doesn't even recognize me, and at the moment, she's too scared to even meet others…"
Grandfather Luo sighed and glanced at Butler Douglas who had been by his side when Ghost came into his room earlier . Then, he sighed again before looking at Ghost .
With a sad voice, he said, "When I brought you back that day, I've never expected all of these to happen…"
Grandfather Luo shook his head a little before saying, "Alright then . Go and stay with her for now . But when she's better, I expect you to bring her back . At the very least, let me go and see her, alright?"
Ghost nodded . He gave his grandfather a tight hug before saying, "I'll come back for a visit soon…"
"You silly boy…" said Grandfather Luo with a tear in his eyes . To be honest, he was a little worried about letting Ghost stayed outside without any servant . Ever since the "kid" moved in with him, he had not left his side for more than a few days at a time . He was worried that Ghost might suffer a little from living outside by himself .
Furthermore, he did not think that Callum would make a good "housewife" for his grandson .
Having no idea what his grandfather was worried about, Ghost then moved to give Butler Douglas a hug . As he hugged his favorite butler who had been like a father to him, he whispered, "Take care of my grandfather for me, alright?"
Butler Douglas smiled and nodded . "We'll wait for you and your mother to return…"
After they exchanged a few more words, Ghost went back to his room to pack up some clothes and important things . Before he zipped his luggage bag, he took the framed photo of him and his grandfather and placed it inside the bag .
Once he was done packing, he bade farewell to his grandfather, Butler Douglas and the chef, his Uncle Yuan . He told Uncle Yuan about his mother . At first, Uncle Yuan insisted on seeing her despite Ghost's explanation . However, he suddenly changed his mind .
He felt too ashamed to face her . No matter if it was her or her son… He knew he had failed to protect any of them . Thus, he merely said to Ghost, "I'll make her favorite dishes and get one of the maids to send them… I hope that it'd help her remember the better days…"
Ghost nodded and did not say anything else .
When he finally got back into the car, Lin had fallen asleep . She had pulled her legs up and was in a sitting fetal position as she slept . A jacket had covered her body . It was Callum's . He gently closed the backseat door and went to sit in the passenger seat . With a guilty pair of eyes, he looked at Callum as he murmured a soft, "Thanks… and I'm sorry…"
Callum glanced at Lin to make sure that she was still sleeping before he reached over to caress Ghost's cheek . With a soft voice, he asked, "Why are you apologizing to me?"
Ghost glanced at the direction of Callum's chest before he said, "That hurt, right?"
"Yeah… A little…"
"Why didn't you block it?"
"You're angry… and I'd rather you hit me than to do things that'd hurt yourself… Don't worry about it . We men from Shenlong heal fast… "
Ghost sighed and murmured, "You idiot…"
With a smile, Callum teased, "But I'm your idiot…"
However, he soon added, "But em… How about you drive now?"
Ghost noticed earlier that Callum did not put on his seatbelt . Callum's ribs must have been bothering him, but he did not want to say anything . So, Ghost merely nodded and exchanged the position with Callum .
Before he started driving, Callum asked jokingly, "No kiss for your patient?"
He was really only joking, but Ghost leaned over to kiss him on the lips . As he grinned widely, Callum said, "Man, if I can get a kiss just by getting hit… Please hit me every day!"
Ghost chuckled, "You idiot…"
They then went back to their new… home . Yes, home .
