Several knocks sounded outside the door, as concerned staff of the Ruan family called out to his employer when they all heard him shouting at the top of his voice . Mo Yijie was downstairs with two of the maids while waiting to be summoned by his boss when a cry of anguish sounded from above . Scaling through the flight of stairs the aide and the maids with him came to see what could have caused their boss to cry out .

Both of them looked at Mo Yijie as their eyes pleaded with him not to make an hasty decision about what could have led to their employer making such a sound . This soon changed when they saw the way the lights were flickering .

Reaching into her front pocket, the maid that spoke to Mo Yijie pulled out a bunch of keys and handed them to him with shaking hands .

"It's the small gold one, Mr . Mo!"

The maids watched closely as the aide of Ruan Yuchen inserted the key into the keyhole by the door, nervously lacing their fingers in front of them with eyes that look anxiously, wondering what laid ahead .
