"Leave us!" Long Kael commanded loudly as he waved his hands, ordering the  elders .

 "But Your Majesty, these people… They don't seem trustworthy . We are worried about your safety," One of the elders said almost sounding genuine to Wu Jiao's ears .

Wu Jiao smiled discreetly . She was starting to get a picture of what was going on . It seemed  that the king was trying to hide the identity of the person who was severely injured .

Why? Because when Long Kael blurted out the word 'she' the faces of the elders had gotten  confused, which confirmed that they were not aware of exactly what was going on . Too bad, the king  wanted them to stay, and that would make them more curious .   

"Do not make me say it again . " Long Kael said warningly . There were elders who truly cared for his safety and the citizens of the dragon country .

However, if some of them were soon to be  his father-in-law, there was no way he could tell them that the one who may die soon was his own true mate .

It was complicated . Half mates could be taken and be a part of the mating ceremony . The ceremony  helped the beast side to accept that the mortal side would be with someone else aside from its fated half .

But there would be a big difference  with a true mate . Once a mating ceremony got done, the beast side  never accepted anyone else . With that thought alone, Long Kael could not let the elders know, that he had met his true mate .

The elders did not answer . With the look on the elders' faces though, they did not want to leave and intended to stay if possible, which was totally not .

"Guards leave us, all of you!" Long Kael also added . They might be genuinely concerned for his safety after witnessing, what one of the mages could do but he did not care anymore what the others thought .

He watched impatiently as the elders and the guards' dragged time to get out of the throne room .

"Elder Han, what do you think is really going on?" One of the elders asked respectfully .

They were supposed to report to the king, how Prince Cheng's mate had responded to their offer, when the people from the Shenxi Galactic Cruise Corp had arrived .

Now they also learned that someone was severely injured, that even the king  acted so aggressively made them feel suspicious . They were not completely concerned that one of the mages was powerful, but they were more concerned with the people supporting the corporation .

Since no one could just ignore the massive ship and its luxurious offers, it was well known to be partnered and protected by well known beings thought, they all knew quadrants . Offending these people was not really a good idea .

In fact, if someone was trying to establish the galactic and planetary connection, it was best to do so within the cruise ship .

Add to the known facts that their trading products which could be sold like, medicinal herbs, mechanical parts, robotics, bioproducts, and others were all in high quality just like the manager had said .

"We need someone to investigate . The king is acting strangely," Elder Han Wei said seriously . He was one of the elders that needed to step out of the room .

Though no one could notice but, he was already fuming inside . He wanted to leave as soon as possible and take care of something more important . However with the arrival of the visitors from another planet, he had to  delay his work .

Regardless,that he needed to do something . Han Wei needed to be informed and make sure everything was under control and nothing was going to stop his plan .

With that in mind, Han Wei called one of his servants and whispered something before allowing the servant to  leave quickly .

"Prince Cheng's mate was not injured right?" One of them asked, as they waited for the door to open .

With a shake of his head, "The king said that the injury is not healing . Also with the sound of it, the injury seems massive . I don't think someone could still act cockily with that . " Another elder replied as they remembered how prideful Lu Meili was being in front of them . They had found her demand really a waste of time .

"We can take care of her on the first trial when the first moon will be up . " Han Wei said dismissively .

In the Shou planet, there were areas that got more day time than night time . The Dragon country was one of those . This was an advantage for them, as dragons were fire-based beasts and the heat was nothing to them . They also welcomed the arrival of the night of course, because sometimes it only arrived after a month and only lasted for three days .

With  the scarcity of the night time, it was considered to have a special meaning and the best time for trials, warrior's rights or mating ceremonies . There were other customs that were set at the same time .

It just so happened that the moon would be up soon . Luckily because of that as well, Lu Meili's first trial could happen and she did not need to wait for months in her imprisonment . Since it would be a public trial, so  if she was not able to defend herself and the citizens demanded her death, then that would happen .

In fact, he wanted to take care of Lu Meili sooner without anyone noticing . Yes, he could still test it out when she died but it was best to make use of someone who was breathing and alive .

However, the sooner the better . At least before Long Cheng could try to do anything stupid or she tried to escape . They did not yet know her origin after all .

He was planning this, not only because of his daughter but also because of Lu Meili's origin .

Han Wei wanted to make sure first that she was what he was looking for, before taking any step . Once he was able to confirm it and if she was what he was expecting, then his entire wait, investments were all worth it .
