With the elder pointing that out, it seemed Long Kael was not the only one who was unhappy with the woman's behavior . It was not really a big deal for him, the elders were just making the fuss out of it .

Wu Jiao bowed respectfully before introducing herself . "Please call me, Manager Wu . I oversee the entire Shenxi Galactic Cruise management after the captain and the first mate . " She said with confidence .

"The fae is called Dex . He was from the Shenxi Auction house and the other is called, Mae Mae . " She added before calling, "Mae Mae be a good girl and give the king our gift…" She encouraged .

Li Mae shifted her gaze from the stone to Wu Jiao unhappily . The other responded with a knowing look and a nod of encouragement .

At least Li Mae cooperated this time, by standing up waving her hand to produce magical sparks . The sparks then slowly formed into different colors of flames that looked like dancing around Wu Jiao's hand .

When Wu Jiao held her palm, the flames touched it before they vanished and replaced by a box . Li Mae tried to get closer to Long Kael to give the box but she was stopped by the guards .

"Just give it to him . " Wu Jiao said calmly which Li Mae followed .

"What is that? Your Majesty, please be careful . " One of the elders replied . Magic was something that they were specialized in . Thus it was normal to be always cautious .

Instead of directly answering the elder, Wu Jiao smiled and spoke to Long Kael directly, "Your Majesty, we had been the space-traveling merchants first, before we have managed to solidify the presence of our Cruise ship in all the known quadrants . " Wu Jiao started .

She could still remember how they had started, also why they were doing it . Regardless of the reason, the hardships that they experienced before the current status of Shenxi Galactic Cruise Corp was not simple . Wu Jiao was proud of what they had accomplished so far .

"We are very familiar with different royalties, thus we know that being a king could be a challenge . Please accept this artifact that would give you calmness whenever you need it . It will also save your life when you are on the verge of death . " Wu Jiao continued to explain her voice laced with unmistakable adoration to the artifact .

She knew that her statement was not that much believable . However, she also knew that any King was a wise person .

He was known to be merciless but he would not be a King for a long time now if he chose to listen to hearsay instead of finding out things for himself .

Just as Wu Jiao had expected, Long Kael opened the box and found a bracelet in it . It had different colors of stones that were intricately designed . Picking up the bracelet, Long Kael carefully touched the bracelet and he immediately felt the magical calming effect of it .

He did not wear it, but he did not destroy it or return it as well which was a good sign .

"Is this your payment for the medicine that did not work?" Long Kael asked almost sarcastically . The bracelet was a good gift but he won't be swayed .  

The fae behind Wu Jiao shivered due to fear . While Wu Jiao did not show any signs of it . Even Li Mae went back to watching the stone that she was holding instead of bothering with the current events .

"Please, Your Majesty . There must be a mistake . Our herbs, potions are top of the class that we also distribute to other planets . We got the exclusivity in this country, surely we don't want that to be removed . " Wu Jiao started . The quality of the materials when relating to magic was top class . She was sure that the problem was in something else .

"Then explain why it did not heal the one who needs it?" This time Long Kael's voice noticeably turned lower . His dragon was anxious and wanted to get back to his mate . He was feeling the urge to shake the man to answer his question immediately .

Immediately feeling the change of atmosphere, Wu Jiao hurriedly answered with seriousness, "Your Majesty, I just want to ask . Are you all completely sure that the injury was from magic?"

"Are you insulting me? I would not get your service if it was not the case . " Long Kael said with confidence . However, that was not what he was feeling deep inside .

What if his mate was already injured way before he had thrown her on the seal which caused more complications?

Wu Jiao nodded her head, "Apologies . We just wanted to make sure . Because if the person is not healing from a magically induced injury then that only means that the person was cursed and will be dying very soon . "
