The hospital staff, doctors and nurses were all nervous, as they tried their best to cure the woman their king had bought earlier in the palace .  

In all honesty, it would have been easier to cure her if the dragon king himself was not hovering over them in the room .  

He was not speaking but his presence alone was enough for them to be anxious . After all, he was keenly watchful of all their movements .

They could not even make a noise,  afraid to offend further the unhappy king, who was supervising their every move .  

Sometimes he occasionally frowned . Especially when the female on the bed groaned painfully despite being unconscious, which happened when a nurse accidentally touched her wounds harder than necessary .  

Noticing it right away,  Long Kael growled at the nurse threatening and commanded her to be replaced immediately . Thankfully, no one was replaced after that or punished severely that might have even caused death .

There was even a time when the king himself touched the woman's face, but the female groaned louder at that .  

It was the first time they were able to see Long Kael frown deeply in confusion like he was trying to understand a very difficult situation .  

The doctor and nurses were trying to cure no other than Mo Rin . She was currently on the bed, back facing the medics while her burnt skin was exposed to them .   

Mo Rin only had a white cotton blanket up to her waist as a cover for her nakedness .

Long Kael stared at them for a while, almost dazed with especially the tattoo on her right hip . A dragon with long tail curled around her thigh . The dragon's color was golden which looked so familiar to him .  

He slowly traced his hands on the outline of the dragon tattoo and noticed goosebumps on her skin . The spark of their connection was there but the pain of her murmurs was always accompanied by every touch .  

 If he was not asked by one of the doctors to step back, Long Kael would have been still in a dazed state much longer .  

After making sure that Mo Rin was laying on the bed back facing them, he finally allowed the medics to start curing her .

 Long Kael also took all her belongings and while he was waiting for the medics to finish, he leaned on the window near Mo Rin's bed .  

He occasionally crumpled the yellow thin papers that he got from Mo Rin's clothes . Long Kael also got throwing knives from her that he placed on the small table next to her bed .  

His patience was running out rapidly, as he did not see any improvements in Mo Rin's condition . "What's taking all of you so long?" He felt like, instead of her back wound healing, it looked like it was getting bigger, it was more like spreading over her body .  

"Ah! Your Majesty!" One of the female doctors screamed in horror,  as she ran toward Long Kael and kneeled in front of him, "We are doing our best… This is an injury caused by magic . We have already called a magic expert to help . Please spare us…" she said begging .  

Long Kael frowned . The doctor was trying to sugar coat what was going on because the word expert alone would not apply to the available mages in their country, based on the galactic standard that was . However, he also knew that the doctor had a point . Magic could only be cured with magic . After all, the wound on Mo Rin's back was from the magic seal of the Thunder Forest .  

Dragons did not have a good history with mages since they were hunted and used as magical artifacts or potion ingredients . Shenxi Auction house was the only magical store in the entire country at this moment .  

"Tsk . Make sure you have summoned female mages . " He replied unhappily .  

The doctor assured, delighted . "Yes, Your Majesty!" He was delighted as she specially asked for female mages . It was so obvious since aside from the king himself, there was no other male staff around .

"Just do your job immediately . " Long Kael said with furrowed brows . He was unhappy because of the delay, but could not find fault because of their intentions .  

The female mages stood up from the floor and approached the medical bed . However, the moment they saw the wound on Mo Rin's back, both of them gasped loudly and noticeably paled .
