"Any update on where the note came from?" he asked to no one in particular. 

"Your Highness, we are still tracing the source. It is still baffling that it was found inside your room." The six-star general with dragon-shaped badges on his uniform answered.

He had been the one nearest to the man and despite his respectful answer and the indifference on the king's face, there was no assurance that anyone would be punished.

Why? Of course, because an intruder was able to break into the palace without anyone sensing it at all.

The intruder even managed to get inside the king's room and made sure to leave no trace.

Another interesting thing was the way the letters were crafted on the note. It looked like a love letter from a stalker with heavy and disturbing news of an accident. 

The general opened the note again and tried to read between the lines. However, the more he read it, the more cringy it got.

The general's face was already dark with anger after reading the letter. He could not accept the fact that the intruder could write such a shameful and disrespectful message.

The dragon king remained silent before curiously looking at the paper the general was holding.

'I am trying to reverse the summon spell…' Kael reread that part multiple times. It was also the sentence that made him go to the Thunder Forest personally.

A being that could cast a spell that could summon all the beasts inside the Thunder Forest must be captured at all costs.

The only way that they would be sure of it was to know that, whoever the person was, he or she would not be far from the forest.

'Neighbour, huh? Let us see how far you can go.' Long Kael thought with an evil glint in his eyes.

'Senior sister, why are you still not picking up?!' Mo Rin complained silently. She had been trying to contact Lu Meili since earlier but was getting no response. 

Mo Rin was using a stealth talisman to hide her presence as she carefully moved closer to the seal and help increase the repair. There should be no issue if the self-repair of the seal was delayed. 

However, her stupidity and uncontrolled powers had pushed a lot of people in a dangerous situation.
