Long Jun shook his head, before raising his hands in mock surrender, "You are going to be fine in his hands." He said, assuring,  it was not convincing at all. 

To add to her annoyance, Long Jun winked at her! He winked while grey scales still covered his face! 

"Really? Is this how the men of this planet act? Forgetting their promises so quickly? All of you have no ball-" Lu Meili was not able to complete what she was about to say, as Long Cheng promptly covered her mouth.

He then leaned down, stopping on the side of her ears before whispering, "Nah. Do not continue what you are about to say. That is offensive, and I will take that as a challenge to prove to you that, males from our planet, do indeed have balls." Long Cheng said hoarsely, his tone bright with promise. 

He removed his hand that was covering her mouth and shifted his gaze towards her face, studying her expression carefully. 

The atmosphere around them was dense. It was something that Lu Meili was still trying to get used to. So she decided to step back a little, but Long Cheng would not let her by circling his arm around her waist. 

Lu Meili could only hold his gaze with narrowed eyes, "I know you have balls. I saw it earlier, remember?" She said, hissing under her breath. 

Now she remembered why it did not sit well with her that, the one currently tied up was her. She felt restricted and Long Cheng was too unpredictable for her to handle around. 

Who knew what Long Cheng will do, while still holding the enchanted rope on his hand? 

"Yes, you did. Want to go somewhere to look at it again?" Long Cheng offered suggestively with his hoarse voice. He spoke louder than necessary, which meant he was serious with his offer. This also meant the other shifter's around him heard what he said. Lu Meili gritted her teeth to try to calm down, "No. I respectfully decline your offer." She said. 

"Huh? Why?" 

"It does not look impressive at all." She answered with indifference. 

"Not impressive?" Long Cheng laughed tauntingly. "How can you say that by just looking? It has other functions that you could enjoy-" he said with promise, but before he could continue, Lu Meili interrupted him by kicking him in the knee. Not enough to cause damage, but sufficient for him wince. 

"Are you really supposed to be playing around now?" she asked suddenly. 

Long Cheng shook his head and released a deep sigh. He only wanted to be with her alone so they could form their mating bond properly. Her anger that kept pushing him away should end as soon as possible. 

"Then what are we supposed to do?" he questioned instead. 

Lu Meili  spoke seriously, "Aren't you supposed to stop the beasts from going out of the Thunder Forest ?" 

Long Jun stiffened after hearing what Lu Meili had said. He shifted his gaze back to the direction the beasts were heading. He saw a dreadful omen as he realized that she was correct. 

The beasts were heading to the unfixed seal of the Blue Area and would leave the Thunder Forest soon!
