Even though Long Cheng caught him off guard earlier, it is still easy for him to defend himself from someone who is still fighting for consciousness. He is not surprised that he was attacked in the first place.

To Long Jun's surprise, his soldier honestly reported that the woman has effortlessly evaded them. They have tried to shift to match her speed partially, but they still cannot get a hold of her.

"Hehe. This is interesting."Long Jun smirked. He is looking forward to the struggles that his cousin will face to tame a mate like that.

Long Jun jumped out of the window. They are on the 17th floor of the hotel building. Falling that high will not kill Long Cheng who is partially shifted.

He does not care about the damage that they will need to settle later. After all, they are supposed to be looking for the criminal who took his cousin.

A dragon shifter needs to shift fully once in a while. Despite the fact that full shifting is not allowed on most public places, there are selected isolate areas where they can do so.

Long Cheng was within that area, and surprisingly he was attacked there as well. That meant that whoever planned the attack was aware that he was isolated.

When they arrived at the scene, all the twelve assassins were already dead. Long Cheng might have fought against them alone and injured somewhere. However, a day has passed already, and they have not heard back from him.

And just now, Long Cheng is inside a small hotel room with his mate, tied up. Long Jun cannot only conclude that his cousin is playing kinky at that time.

'She is probably healing him?' Long Jun thought of another possibility.

Long Jun decided to wait for Long Cheng to talk while he casually watched his cousin struggled to get up from the parts of the store that fell on him earlier.

Still being fueled by his dragon's savage instinct, Long Cheng continued to give him a murderous glare, even when he was having a hard time standing up properly, in all his naked glory.

"She is alive. I withdrew the shoot to kill order. They will capture her unharmed. So no need to look at me like you is planning to commit a criminal offense against royalty." Long Jun stated dismissively.

Long Cheng tense shoulders relaxed immediately. He then closed his eyes tightly and slowly released deep breaths to calm.

"Where is she?" He asked seriously after a while.

"She seems to be heading to the forest." Long Jun replied.

"Your guys failed to catch her?" Long Cheng asked with mock surprise, before shaking his head disappointingly.

Unsure if Long Cheng is making fun of them, as the captain, he must defend his soldier's honor. However, before he can do so, he was interrupted by a woman's screeching voice.

"Your Highness what is wrong with you?! That woman kidnapped and tried to kill you!" Han Lu screamed in annoyance as she walks towards them. The woman is wearing a very tight short black dress and high heels.

Long Cheng glared at Long Jun when he saw the woman. Long Jun just shrugged his shoulder after giving his cousin an innocent smile.

Mostly glanced at Han Lu's direction as she is a beautiful woman. With the extra skin that she is flaunting, Han Lu is just pleasing to the eye.

If one is stupid enough just to keep looking, he will be enchanted, unable to notice that a snake already bites him.

Han Lu is the kind that one would just prefer to look at instead of talking to. Not for Long Cheng though. Sadly as well, they cannot push her away as currently she is still a political match for him.

"What the fvck are you doing here?!" Long Cheng anger flared up. Of all shifters, why does he need to see an annoying woman at that moment he is still fighting control with his dragon?

"I was worried about you! You were kidnapped!" Han Lu explained loudly. Her eyes not hiding the desire in her eyes as she blatantly ogles at Long Cheng's nakedness.

"Do I look kidnapped to you?!" He snapped rudely at her. 'Shameless!' Long Cheng gritted his teeth as he discretely hid his manhood between his hands. "Go back home! Do something more useful; you are not needed here!" Long Cheng added in annoyance.
