"I did not manage to reach the lowest part of the hole, I was not sure if I could reach the top again with the amount of Soul Force I'd have at that amount." Shen Tian lied to them, he did indeed reach the lowest part, and he found some sealed gates at it.
Xiao Ning'er moved her sexy body, and pondered,"Let's go check it then, how did you manage to fly around the place though? Did you use your Demon Spirit's ability to fly?" She asked Shen Tian who lied, and nodded.
Feng Hao smiled,"Then, what are we waiting for, you can use your wings to help us fly as well, we both have Demon Spirits with wings… But your cultivation is above ours, so is your control." He wanted Shen Tian to carry both of them.
Shen Tian looked around,"Let's be sure we all are ready before doing it, I don't think I can suddenly stop, just because you want to check up something while flying inside the hole." He exclaimed.
The two checked their Interspatial Ring for anything they might need, and told Shen Tian they were ready, he entered his Abyssal Void Dragon Demon Spirit form, and grabbed the two softly, putting them on his wings.
"Let's go." Shen Tian jumped off, directly inside the hole, and they started to fall down at an incredible speed,Xiao Ning'er felt tears escape the corners of her eyes, this was a very scared experience to her.

Shen Xian took a deep breath, as he looked at the two people in front of him. They were wearing clothes only the nobility wore, and coldly looked at him,"An outsider…" They seethed at the same time.
"What do you want here?! We sealed the gates for a reason?! How did you manage to enter our city in the first place?" One of them started to fire questions at Shen Xian, who was very confused and stressed.
Shen Tian knew they were not simple henchmen, as their cultivation was at the peak of the Black Gold Rank, they possibly were some big shots in this realm, he couldn't risk killing them this easily.
"Are you from The Orchid City?" One of the two asked, that was one of the cities they knew from the outside world, and one of the few which had not immediately fallen to the Demon Beast Horde.
Shen Xian shook his head,"The Ancient Orchid City fells soon after the Age of Darkness, the survivors left it, and created Glory City, it's the last shelter of the human race." He told them, making them widen their eyes.
"Glory City… What an interesting name, I suppose they are quite strong, since they have a Legend Rank Demon Spiritualist, and they can afford sending them at random places it seems." One of the two said.
Shen Xian decided to play a strong appearance, and sighed in depression," I am one of the weakest in my city, they bullied me into taking a mission into this region, which we call the Dark Ruins."
The two men, who had dark brown skin, black hair and brown eyes were surprised. This was a show off Glory City's strength… A strength Shen Xian had faked, to create a foothold in this place.
If he told them that he was just one of the two Legend Rank Demon Spiritualists in the city, they'd bully him, and probably even escort him to the city, to ask a Legend Rank Expert to capture him alive.
"Yes, my mission here was to confirm the existence of a human settlement, which seems to be true, my people back at Glory City would be very joyous, to know that they are not the last humans alive."
Shen Xian awkwardly smiled and asked something,"Do you know… How I can go back to the surface,please? I have someone waiting for me back home, someone I really need to meet, my son!"
One of them, who was named Chen Bao, looked at the other one, who was named Zhan Zheng, and sighed,"Listen here my friend, you can no longer leave this place. There is no way to do that." He said.
Shen Xian snorted,"Please, if I could come here, there should be a way for me to also leave! Don't you have a stairway to the top or something like that?!" He asked them, his voice had a tone of disbelief.
Chen Bao rolled his eyes,"Our supreme leader, decided, two hundred and fifty years ago, to destroy the stairway to the top, since then no one has tried to reach the surface due to this." He stated.
Shen Xian's hands formed fists, as veins appeared on his forehead," I refuse to accept this! I will build the stairway again if it's required, I cannot stay here forever!" He shouted, his temper turned to anger.
Zhan Zheng similarly rolled his eyes,"Anger won't save you from your current situation, you need to accept the fact that currently, there is no way for you to reach the surface again, you are several dozen kilometers below it."

Shen Tian sneezed,"Someone must be talking about me...Nie Li? Maybe he is thinking about my existence, so troublesome." Feng Hao immediately noticed his lack of focus and reprimanded him.
Xiao Ning'er was feeling uncomfortable, but she couldn't complain, after all Shen Tian was carrying both of them at the same time, that was a serious strain on his wings, which were not used to that much weight.
"We are about to reach the end of this hole, I can feel something around a kilometer below us." Shen Tian let them know, and a bit of excitement entered their faces, what could possibly lie at the end of this hole?
Shen Tian softly landed into the ground,Xiao Ning'er and Feng Hao jumped off his wings, and started to stretch their limbs, he returned to his human form, and looked around,"This is a gate."
He muttered to himself, and slammed his fist into the ground, carefully controlling his strength,"It can endure the physical strength up to the Black Gold Rank, interesting, though the attack of a Legend Rank Expert will break it after a few tries."
