Troublesome." Ryu Otsutsuki groaned as he wiped the sweat on his forehead.
Shen Tian started to move his limbs. The barrier in front of him was still as strong as ever, and it did not seem it was going to stop. Shen Tian sent the remaining energy towards the Undying Cycles Realm. The full concentrated amount of Heavenly Energy he had from the Shadow Clones did not lack at all compared to the amount he had absorbed right now.
"I've heard that you want to go to the center of the Purgatory Mountain Range, to the Purgatory Volcano, why is that? Just for some useless flower like the Magma Six Petals Flower, I can give it to you for free if you want to, I occasionally send my pets there, and they collected a few flowers like that." Ryu said with a chuckle.
Shen Tian narrowed his eyes as he looked at him, before sending a fist forward, shattering the barrier to fragments, easily passing through it a moment later."If you can give me five Magma Six Petals Flower I will agree to doing what you require to free yourself from this Purgatory Shrine." He said with a yawn.
Ryu Otsutsuki grinned," I just need you to come with me to the actual core of the Purgatory Shrine, this is the center of the shrine, the original tasked me to bring you here so you could quickly increase your cultivation. It seems it has perfectly served it's only purpose in this life!" He said with a happy tone.
"I don't really appreciate the fact that you are lying to me, but I shall ignore that due to the high opinion I had of you recently." Shen Tian said as he wiped the dust from his clothes. His eyes never left Ryu's violet orbs, although he just said that, he was very wary of the Otsutsuki clan member.
Ryu smiled,"Now, you will face a really hard challenge in the actual core of this Purgatory Shrine. It's not like the Abyssal Twelve Winged Lion you faced as the first challenge, in the first level of the shrine. This one is probably a hundred times stronger than it. It has the cultivation of a Heavenly Star Demon Beast!"
"You have successfully grabbed my attention, do not disappoint me now then Ryu. I want to have a good fight, fighting you left a bad taste in my mouth." Shen Tian snorted as he walked towards Ryu. The poor soul clone ignored the look Shen Tian was sending him, and kept faking a happy expression.
"Well… I don't know what to say… Let's proceed towards the actual core of the Purgatory Shrine now! The Demon Beast you will fight is extremely rare… In fact you can't find it in the Draconic Ruins Realm anymore, it's basically a forgotten and dead specie." Ryu said as he started to walk towards another staircase.
"This only makes it more interesting." Ryu stopped on his tracks and looked at Shen Tian,"Due to the laws of the Purgatory Lands, this Demon Beast actually has a human form. Let me just warn you of its soul attribute, it's Wind and Lightning, so you have to be careful of his attacks, they will be incredibly aggressive."
"This only makes it more interesting, like I stated previously, Ryu. The fight I had with the Abyssal Twelve Winged Lion was miserable, he didn't even make me use two percent of my full strength, you did challenge me quite a lot… I don't know why, although it's out of my personality, I want to fight someone so badly! Ryu widened his mouth as he grinned, revealing shiny white teeth. " You do not have normal Fate Souls or Fate Stars, through the energy the original stored for you, you could even say you have gone through a baptism, your body is not the same anymore, it's even more durable than a Martial Ancestor!"
Shen Tian's eyes widened, he definitely did not expect his body to get so strong. It was known that the Martial Ancestor Realm as almost the apex of the Draconic Ruins Realm, in fact the experts which had reached the realm after it were so rare, that you would never see an expert of that level in this world.
Before the Martial Ancestor Realm was the Dao Of Dragon Realm and the Heavenly Axis Realm, both realms which Shen Tian had to go through to reach the Martial Ancestor Realm. But his body was already stronger than your average Martial Ancestor Expert, he was almost at the apex in terms of physical strength.
The roar of a Demon Beast was heard loudly just after they started to go down the stairs. Shen Tian narrowed his glare, while Ryu just shrugged. " It seems it's currently very angry, happens with it sometimes. This is one of those days which it isn't in it's human form, a very rare day to speak of." He said.
"I can feel its power emitting from here, it's indeed as powerful as you told me it is. A Heavenly Star Realm Demon Beast… It will be the strongest expert I've faced after you, I know you didn't use your full power when you fought me Ryu… I expect a rematch sooner or later, and I will get it one day." Shen Tian coldly exclaimed.
