"What do you mean?" Shen Tian asked while Tian Ling neared him and grinned,"What I mean is that you won't be able to walk beyond this place tonight!" He motioned for the men behind him to attack Shen Tian, who shook his head and waved his hand, sending light speed rays of Heavenly Energy at the group.
Tian Ling widened his eyes, as everyone besides him fell on the ground, either unconscious or were simply dead! He started to retreat behind, he was weaker than most of the people he had brought with him, so he did not expect Shen Tian to suddenly kill all the others, with his power he'd also be quickly killed.
He gulped as sweat covered his forehead,"Shen Tian… We can talk this out, there is no need to kill me! I was just joking earlier, my Northern Nether Family can give you lots of treasures and resources you might need! I will even ask my father to marry the most beautiful women of our family to you!"
Shen Tian calmly walked towards Tian Ling who started to walk backwards, he did not want to be in the same space as Shen Tian, after all it was impossible to know whenever he would spare him or not. Despite his continuous begging, Shen Tian only continued to walk towards him, not even increasing his speed.
Instead Tian Ling bumped into a rock, causing him to fall with his butt on the ground, but his eyes could only widen in shock as a primordial and ancient aura bursted out of Shen Tian,"Law… Energy?" Tian Ling muttered as the Law Energy separated into two parts, Dark Purple and Dark Orange, each starting to condense.
"Void does not have a shape, instead you can change it to whatever you want. It's actually quite nice for situations like this. For example, I could create a hammer and smash you down, or a sharp blade and cut you down, or just simply crush you under the enormous pressure of the law itself." Shen Tian chuckled.
"Primal Chaos does not have a shape either, but it's way more limited compared to Void. It becomes stronger, the more negative emotions of rage or anger you have. But when you comprehend it too deeply, that kind of stuff is not even required anymore." Shen Tian finished his sentence.
"You know what both of them are useful for?" Shen Tian asked Tian Ling, who continued to stare at him, sweat dripping from his chin as he shook his head, too weak to even properly respond to Shen Tian who chuckled,"Since you do not know, I feel responsible to let you realize what their use is when put together."
He walked closer to Tian Ling, who wanted to move backwards but could not simply due to the sheer pressure emitting out of Shen Tian in front of him, his silver and orange eyes starting to shine. "They are useful only for a thing when put together… And that is a thing every human is capable of, killing."
The Law Energy of Void and Primal Chaos surged out of him, creating an enormous sword, which with a tilt of Shen Tian's finger, flew below towards Tian Ling who let out a scream of anguish out, before the blade pierced his body. Tian Ling, young master of the Northern Nether Family was just killed.
"Interesting enough, when your comprehension of a law is deep enough, you can manage to turn the Law Energy into a solid form, although not really required, it means that Law Energy is created of inscription patterns, otherwise such a change would be simply a miracle to be pulled off." Shen Tian said, he was alone in this massive area, the others had gone off to search for treasures.
He curled his lips, it seems the Death God was not truly dead, and was actually doing all of this to bait people into entering his tomb, as to steal their soul and recover his Divine Spark once again, but his Shadow Clone should be able to deal with the Spiritual God of the Death Law without that much difficulty.
It did not take long before Feng Hao and the rest returned, it seems it had not really been a great hunt, as Feng Hao had failed to take the Divine Spark of the Spiritual God of Death, instead he was forced to fight it head on, only for Nie Li to reap the final benefits in the end, he was greatly displeased by that.
Xiao Ning'er and the rest,however had a very good hunt. They got many treasures, and the Shadow Clones Shen Tian had created earlier gathered a massive amount of Spiritual Origin Fruits and different other resources while he had been resting in a separate part of the Nine Layered Deathlands.
"The Seventh Layer has been opened! Let's go!" The cries of Demigods could be heard, as they all rushed towards the vortex leading to the Seventh Layer of the Nine Layered Deathlands. They were all excited and going at full speed, after all every each of them wanted to be the disciple of the Nether Master!
It did not take a long time before messengers of the Nether Master to appear on the sky, hovering on it. Shen Tian calmly looked at the scene, not really surprised or in awe, after any Legend Rank Demon Spiritualist would not have found it all amazing either, since they could also fly with special techniques.
They each were five to six meters tall, with long black wings on their back and wore black armor, giving them a mysterious aura. One could not deny that the Messengers sent by the Nether Master were not chosen wrongly, as each one of them had a decent cultivation and looked intimidating.
However those messengers had an overbearing feeling to them, as if no one could be stronger than them, which Shen Tian and his companions besides Xiao Ning'er easily shrugged it off, as they were indeed stronger than those messengers, expect Jing Ye and Jian Yu obviously, but the rest were powerful in their own ways.
"We are here to pass the orders of the Nether Master!"
One of the messengers shouted.
"Usually there would be an enormous amount of deaths going through the layers of the Nine Layered Deathlands, however our master has decided to hold a special test, which will spare a lot of your lives. You should all thank the Nether Master for the kindness he has decided to show to you all!"
