All It Takes Is One Night 93 Chapter 93: Save water

After leaving the island, Liam was able to return them to their respective homes unarmed and safe for now, they all decided to move in with their lives all except Katie. The only person who could answer her questions has been missing for the past week.

When they returned a week ago they were told that Catherine had gone on a trip to visit some friends abroad. So they didn't bother about her whereabouts but Katie knew what was really going on and she worried. But she had a lot on her plate.

In the last month her company had been ruined and her best friend who had a breakdown at started working at Gu enterment company as a fashion designer, so she had to figure out her next step.

In Katie's apartment,

Sitting on her bed with her laptop on her lap scanning through employment option, she had a little money saved up so she could probably stay in her current apartment without getting a job for half a year but Katie wasn't the type who liked being idle.

'Beep, Beep'

She looked at her phone not surprised who was calling her, her parents have been calling her non stop but she remembered Liam warning her not to keep contact with her parents or anyone associated with them for her own safety.

Feeling like she needed to stretch her legs, Katie got up to get a drink when she heard a knock on her door. She warily turned to her door before slowly walking towards and checking the peephole. Relief washed over when she saw it was James.

Katie quickly threw the door open before pulling her man into her arms for a passionate kiss, one would think they hadn't seen in days but they still saw earlier that morning.

"Hmm, hi. I missed you at work today." James said breaking off the kiss and carrying Katie in his arms as he moved to her room.

"I missed you too, why did you leave work so early?" Katie asked as she snuggled closer to James.

"Catherine is getting back today and I was thinking we could go pick her up and have dinner." James replied before setting Katie on the bed.

"Catherine is back? Of course let's pick her up!" Katie replied.

"Ok then, we'll pick her up. But first I need to shower." James replied as he removed his suit.

"I could use a shower as well and we need to save water don't we?" Katie said with a mischievous smile and a wink.

Needing no more dialogue, James hurriedly lifted her moving towards the bathroom in quick steps.

#Half an hour later,

James and Katie walked out of the bathroom looking extremely satisfied.

They bought wore very comfortable joggers with sandals. By the time they set out for the airport it was already six in evening and Catherine's plane was to land twenty past six.

#At the airport,

Standing outside luggage pick up was a very angry Catherine she has been waiting for half an hour and still no sign of James.

She was about to call a cab when she saw Katie and James approache her hand in hand. They looked around clearly not noticing her. Katie was the first to see her and she immediately let go of James' hand running to give Catherine a hug.

"I've been so worried" whispered Katie before releasing her hold on Catherine.

"Hey Cat, how was your vacation?" James asked as he too his sister's luggage from her.

"It was great, and I feel ready to fight!" Catherine replied.

They decided to order food at home rather than go to a restaurant.

When they arrived at the penthouse, to everybody's surprise Jeremy and Nathan were already there.

"Catherine! I've missed you soooo much" Jeremy said as he lifted Catherine up.

"I missed you too, Jeremy!" Catherine said hugging him back.

"I need to freshen, I'll join you guys for dinner later." Catherine said excusing herself.

"What are you guys doing here?" Katie asked moving over to the couch to join Nathan and Jeremy.

"We Catherine was coming back and we wanted to welcome her." Replied Jeremy.

"No you wanted to welcome but decided to drag me along." Nathan interjected grumpily.

"What's wrong with you?" James asked Nathan.

"Let's just say I had plans I didn't want to end." Replied Nathan grumpier.

The group of four laughed and jokes for a while before Nathan asked, "does Catherine about last week?"

"No I didn't tell her." Replied James with a sigh.

"What if she asks?"

" She doesn't need to know every detail, she is my baby sister and I won't tell her every horrible thing that has happened to me." James answered leaving no room for argument.
