The next morning came.
The morning light pierced through the white curtains and fell on Lin Da's face.

A flash of blue light later, they appeared on the ninth floor of the World Tree: the Muddy Wetlands.

Suddenly, a dark shadow lunged out from beneath the mud!

The sword was as beautiful as moonlight, and the ruby in its hilt emitted a thick fiery light, dispelling the damp and cold around them.
The attacker from beneath the earth was a black flesh worm akin to an earthworm.
It was as thick as an adult man's thigh, a meter long, with a spiraling mouth full of tiny teeth.
A flash in Lin Da's eyes, and he held the Sword of Royalty in position against the direction of the oncoming flesh worm.
There was a hiss as though fabric were being torn, and the magical creature collided with the Sword of Royalty, getting split into two halves right away!
Green stinking blood splashed onto Lin Da's boots, copious guts flowing out from the flesh worm's carcass, spreading a nasty odor.
Lin Da frowned slightly, then looked to the sensor ladybug.
After contemplating for a moment, he spoke to outsiders: “Based on the vibrations on the ground, you can tell where the Wetland Worms are. Later, I will make a dedicated tutorial. If you come today, I plan to quickly pass through the ninth floor, so I will not go into detail here.”
Lin Da's casual killing of the magical creature seemed effortless.
But the chat exploded with activity, with scholars among the adventurers typing rapidly:
