Adventures With a Reincarnated Bush 8 Fall to Winter

The stimulation caused the core to shudder as it absorbed the energy endlessly, reminding John of his attempt to create the core originally. He could feel his whole body shaking, his leaves ruffling and the ground near his roots began to crack. 'This is so intense!' surprised John, began to worry that he'd done something wrong.

Joe was grazing as normal when he was surprised by the bush, that grew grass suddenly turning violent. His eyes grew wide as it felt the ground shaking. With trepidation, the large rotund demonic bull backed away from the quaking bush.

Joe began to see mysterious images form around the bush. The bush, was now lush as a set of magical scenes were portrayed to any onlookers. First, a child playing in the shade of the bush, it's berries slowly nurturing the child. Second a scene of a pure teenage girl, reverently picking the berries from the lush bush. Third a divine lady taking to the skies, as if to battle the gods. The scenes continued playing over and over as if time was in a loop.

After an hour of this phenomena, the images overlapped and converged into the bush, with a blinding light. The silence was smashed by a deafening explosion! This caused the scared bull to stumble, slipping on the slick ground from the recent rain. "UOOOGA." Joe, roared as he tumbled rolling down the hill, like a ball on his stomach.

'Ha ha ha,' John laughed his heart content. He could feel his body full of energy, a small golden seed now took the place of the circular core. 'I warned you, stupid bull but you didn't listen,' John has a face full of happiness. The demonic bulls current humiliation was the cherry on top of this great achievement.

Feeling vindicated John could only wonder what those visions meant. 'Perhaps it's an ancient memory from my great ancestor?' furrowing his brow, he made sure to take the images to heart and memorize them for the future.

While John was on top of the moon, poor Joe was looking quite sad. He'd only been eating as normal when such a strange thing happened. Now he was covered in mud and a bit dizzy from his tumble. Climbing to his hooves, the demonic bull looked angrily, at the plant that scared him. It felt that this plant was trying to steal his hill! Snorting it charged back up to show this bush who was boss.

John sensed the angry demonic bull trying to climb up the hill. His senses could now reach much farther encompassing the whole hill. However, the ground was slippery and the overweight beast was not having a great time. It kept tumbling back down the hill getting angrier every time. John, couldn't help but laugh, 'Joe, I know this is a happy occasion, but you didn't have to dance around like that.'

It took Joe many attempts and by the time he reaches the top, he looked more like a mud boulder then a demonic beast. Joe's, eyes were red with anger, as he stomps his hoof and eyed the bush. It was going to get revenge for sure! Slowly walking forward the bush seemed to quiver a bit in fear. It did no good, however, as Joe, chomped down on one of the branches. Chewing slowly he made sure that this bush knew he could eat it at any time.

Horrified by Joe's aggression and his lost limb John sunk into despair. 'What I didn't do anything to you! Why are you so intolerable!' he yelled to no avail. All he could hope for was that the bull's fury would be satiated with just one branch. The pain was there but, was nowhere near what it was as a human. At least he could be thankful that he has the resilience of a plant. He could grow more branches in the future, replacing the lost one.

Soon more time passed as it got colder John, did indeed lose his leaves and soon even the grass wilted. Now with the ability to grow more weeds taken away, the two hill mates were in a standoff. 'What you want to eat me? If you do how will you satiate your appetite?' John questioned the annoying bull, that had been giving him dark looks.

Joe, not understanding stomped his hoof and snorted as normal to produce more grass. However this time nothing happened. It was very annoying but even as a stubborn bull, it knew that winter was almost here. No matter what this was a hungry time of year. Pouting Joe, slumped down facing away from the poor bush.

'Do you think if you cry I'll be able to magically change the seasons?!' John, surprised by the bull's sullen attitude cursed. He'd even lost a limb earlier, even if he could why would he help this stupid Joe. He turned his senses away from Joe attempting to pout in the opposite direction.

John was weakened greatly without the power of the sun he felt sleepy. Soon both John and Joe the demonic bull turned in for the winter. When they wake up it should be an exciting new year both thought!

John dreams are filled with him, gaining full control of his body and escaping this damn hill, leaving Joe crying at his loss. Joe dream, however, was full of even more food. The hill is full of tasty grass and even some fruit. Joe couldn't help but drool at the sight while John shudders for some reason.
