Inside the CEO's office, Shin was on a rampage that it looks like someone just ransacked the place.

After venting out his anger, he slumped on his chair looking forlorn as he dialed Yeri's no. again.

"Shin? what's up?! I couldn't answer your call earlier because i was in the car with my Mom." Yeri's lively voice went straight into his heart.

"are you home now?" Shin gently asked.

"yup! uhm...I know you're calling about the news...Shin can you let me take care of this?"

"Why? you know the person behind this? tell me and i'll take care of it within an hour." Shin reassured her.

"Oh...thanks! but i can take care of this myself, it's not really a big deal so..."

Shin's expression dimmed as his phone gripped tightened. "you don't need my help? not a big deal?"

There was a moment of silence before Shin continued.

"Yeri Zhi...do you know how infuriating it is to hear other people slandering and cursing the woman i love? I can easily suppress this news from all media flatforms, I can buy a million even billions of people to defend you online and I won't even hesitate to kill anyone for your sake but do you know what's impossible? changing a person's mind...whenever they see you or hear your name, they will first remember this ridiculous nonsense, the picture of you and that unknown species together! Yeri was tongue-tied, she felt something knotted in her throat and her heartache.
