Shin's mind went blank unable to figure out his wifey's message, he finds it cute but did he unknowingly pissed her off or perhaps it's a code message?

He is perfect not an idiot!

Then Shin remembered that Jie arrange a get together tonight to celebrate Zahn's return in the country, he was planning to tell his wifey about it and not to wait for him later.

Could this be the reason she's upset? but who told her about it?

Shin's gaze darted to the innocent Tristan who's currently presenting in front. "Tristan, your presentation is lacking, you skip a few pages from the report, start again from the beginning."

"What pages?" Tristan raised an eyebrow, did Shin forgot to take his medicine? why is he acting up now?

"just start again and make it clear this time, can't you tell everyone look muddled?" Shin demanded with a stoic face. "does anyone here have a problem with my decision?"

The subordinates were all stupefied, the meeting is supposed to end sooner but if they restart again that's another 3 hours and they are already starving, unfortunately, who have the guts to refute the tyrant CEO?

"...." they will soon look muddled from extreme hunger, Tristan thought.

"Why don't you call and check on Sheri, Zahn told me earlier that Sheri had a nightmare last night because of the recent incident." Tristan bluffed, muttering to Shin. It wasn't easy to appease the devil's mood swings before but with Sheri's existence, life is easy. lol!

Shin's expression darkened, is that why she's upset? because he left when she was sleeping?

"Did you tell her about tonight?" Shin asked.

Tristan shrugged his shoulder. "Why would I? did something happened?"

Shin glared at Tristan and hastily walked out of the office.

"That's it for today, you all can leave." Tristan wrap-up the meeting.

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief, thanking Tristan but they're also curious what words persuaded their devil CEO, normally, it's impossible to change the devil's mind.

"Boss Tristan, thank you for saving us! would you like to join us for a late lunch? our treat." one of the employee happily asked.

"Sure! but no need to thank me, you should say that to Sheri."

"...." Sheri? what's a Sheri?

"Shin's girlfriend." Tristan nonchalantly said.

The ones who just heard Tristan were beyond shocked that their jaw hit the floor. The heartless CEO has a girlfriend?! who is the pitiful woman? is she even human?

"hehe~ Boss Tristan really has a good sense of humor!"

"It wasn't a joke though." Tristan chuckled, "Shin can be overbearing but don't worry he's not delusional, Sheri is real."

Yeri continuously switch tv channels not bothering to answer Shin's calls and messages, she's still pissed that Zahn called her an idiot but what really annoyed her is that a part of her know that it's true.

Before meeting Shin and even before her awakening, aside from flirting with guys, spending money and having fun, she never once cared about her family matters or business nor she cared if the world outside her comfort zone still revolves...

If not for her Family, will she even have a convenient and carefree life?

If not for Jj and Levi, she won't have any childhood friends at all and without Nina, will she ever have a female friend?

If not for Tristan, she will remain ignorant about her brother's case- not because her parents hidden it well but she didn't once tried to look into it.

If these people who always protected her will perish, can her succubus ability enough to help her live a comfortable and safe life?

Most importantly, if not for Shin, will she ever realize all of this? but what did she give Shin in return? she don't even know things about him that a stranger is possibly aware of.

Yeri finally turned off the tv and emptily stared at the ceiling.

Is there even a difference between her and Calin's personality? just like Calin she's also dependent with her Family background and appearance. What if Shin fell in love with Calin and she's the one in Calin's position?

"aah!!! shut up! shut up! you stupid brain! why are you scaring me?!" Yeri shouted, clutching her hair.

"Yeri?!" Shin just opened the door and heard her shouting, he anxiously strode towards her, hugging her tightly. "I'm here, don't be scared anymore. It's my fault, i'm sorry that you have to experience that."

"...." did Shin read her mind? what experience?

"Shin i can't breath! why are you here?"

Shin let her go and cupped her face. "why didn't you tell me about your nightmare? you weren't answering my calls and messages, where is your Mother? no one's here with you all day?"

"...." nightmare?

Yeri decided not to correct Shin, it's better he thinks she had a nightmare than thinking she's gone crazy. "They were here earlier, don't worry i'm fine now."

Shin's crestfallen face clearly showed he's not convince. In the future, if she continues to face danger because of him, it might negatively affect her and eventually she will hate him; however, he can't afford to let her go, never.

"Shin, what are you thinking?" Yeri suspiciously asked.

"Nothing, i bought you something to eat." Shin immediately change the topic and took out some plastics from the paperbag he was carrying earlier.

"...." Fruit salad? vegetables stir-fry? and a green smoothie? does he want her to have diarrhea?

"Zahn said you have a very weak immune system because you don't eat healthy foods, you don't have to eat all of them now just maybe have the smoothie first?" Shin quickly explained noticing Yeri's dislike.

"and what's on the other bag?" Yeri asked ignoring the food.

"supplements, there's vitamins and healthy drinks..."

"Shin do you also think that i'm an idiot?"

"f*ck! who said you're an idiot?" Shin suddenly looked furious.

"Dr. Neri said i'm an idiot coz i don't know much about you...for example, I'm not even aware of the bad blood between the Keirs and the Song Family." Yeri bit her lip, looking like a bullied kid.
