"alright." Shin sat on the couch and put her on his lap.

"what are you doing?" Yeri squinted her eyes, this jerk's taking advantage of her just because she can't walk yet.

"hugging wifey." Shin buried his face against her neck. "I'm so happy...wifey, when are you going to introduce me to my Father and Mother-in-law?"

Yeri panicked and hit Shin's chest. "Shin Keir! don't go too far! it doesn't mean that i like you-"

"you like me?! really?!" Shin suddenly exclaimed in surprised.

"...." f*ck! where are her brain cells?! how dare they betrayed her! (-_-)

"you're not allowed to take it back!" Shin cupped her cheeks and sealed her lips.

Yeri's eyes widened, she's use to kissing Shin but this is the first time she feel so nervous, her heart won't just stop pounding abnormally.

They were both breathless when Shin finally pulled apart, gazing at her lovingly and tracing kisses on her face.

While Yeri felt like a coward, she's overwhelmed with complex emotions that she couldn't look him in the eye.

"are you hungry now? I made you another vegetable soup." Shin softly whispered, caressing her hair.

"you what?!" Yeri finally got the courage to gaze at him.

"don't worry it's edible, I tasted it myself." Shin reassured her.

Yeri's mouth parted, unable to hide her disbelief. "t-the previous vegetable soup you brought...did you also cooked it?"

"hmm, I practiced." Shin proudly spoke.

Yeri lowered her head again, riddled with guilt, she threw away all the vegetable soup he cooked! "uhm, these past few days, i notice there's always a bowl of vegetable soup place on my table by the time i woke up...did you also made them?"

"hmm, I asked someone to deliver it here, did you tried it?"

Yeri bit her lips as tears suddenly welled up in her eyes, when was the last time she cried?

When her biological mother died? no, it was when she pushed her step-mom down the stairs and her Father almost disowned her, it was then she realize that she cared for her step-mom and regretted doing that.

"What's wrong? are you in pain?!" Shin anxiously asked, he had never seen Yeri cried before no matter how mad or upset she is.

Yeri shook her head, "Shin, why do you love me? I'm not kind and humble, I don't even know how to cook, clean, and drive a car."

Shin's existence made her realize how superficial she is, aside from her physical appearance, what does she have? nothing! she's just another young miss leeching off her parents wealth, her succubus ability won't even stand a chance against a bullet with her weak human body and personality wise, she would probably pass as a villain than a protagonist.
