Addicted to you Chapter 100: Drowning his grief and sorrow

3 days had passed since the incident and Sin City is in a state of disarray. Citizens were under the impression that the sudden anarchy force the government to impose martial law.

Police and military forces are patrolling the streets and crowded districts, especially the airport, public transportations, seaports and other City terminals.

Those who don't reside within the City, no ID pass, tourist and even Citizens who just got back from vacation or about to leave the City were subjected to a strict security checkpoint.

The media didn't seize broadcasting about a certain terrorist group who harmed two women from an elite families and triggered the dreadful mafia organizations to run amok.

Grego Dayton hastily surveyed his surrounding before parking his car across a large ancestral house, his exhausted and unkempt appearance reflected the dire straits he's in.

After some of his men failed to came back with the woman he desired, the gang had to move from place to place, with so many mafia gangs and assassins chasing them.

Based from one of the assassins he encountered, he has a 500 million price on his head and an undisclosed amount for the rest of Spiros, with such a huge amount of money, he's assuming that the hit came from Shin Keir.

Did he unknowingly set him off for ruining the banquet he attended or for gunning the hotel he owned?

Or did he found out their purpose for illegaly entering Sin City?

Whatever it is, he needs to find a way to leave Sin City! in just 3 days, his men have already dwindled in numbers and as of today, someone anonymously tipped a photo of him and the media started circulating it.

Grego stood in front of a large wooden gate, he has yet to press the doorbell when a burly man opened the door and behind him is an Old Man.

"Godfather." Grego greeted the Old Man.

"Grego, I don't know what did you do and I won't ask for the details. Leave, my Lu Family can't help you." the Old Man said in a serious tone.

Grego's expression darkened, displeased of the Old Man's cold attitude. "Godfather, your Family is one of the largest and top Mafia Organization in this Country. What are you afraid of?"

"Indeed, I owed your Father my life for saving me once and I had repaid that by helping him built Spiros over the years, but child what had you done? I had once warned you about Sin City, nowadays, the Mafia and the Government are nothing but merely a puppet, you don't know the real monsters lurking within these City walls."

"so you're scared of Shin Keir?! you've change Old Man! what did he do to you that you'd turned into a coward?!" Grego sneered.

"The Family will not join the pursuit, but I won't help you either. Leave!" the Old Man insisted and left.

"Godfather, I just need to get out of this City!" Grego indignantly shouted yet the burly Man immediately blocked him and slammed the gate closed.

Grego furiously clenched his fist, running out of options.

'damn you Shin Keir! don't think I can't kill you first!'

It was already late afternoon when Tristan decided to pay Shin a visit.

Since that night, although they manage to masked the incident as a form of terrorism, Yeri is still in coma and the Doctors couldn't confirm if she was really poisoned and what type of poison cause her current state, aside from her inflamed blood vessels resulting to an abnormal blood circulation, there's no other possible explanation within the scope of medical and science.

Tristan found Shin collapsed onto the sofa with bottles of booze on the floor and table, somehow, he already predicted it.

These days, Shin fell into a daily routine of staying at the hospital at night; after the visiting hours, to avoid meeting her parents. In the morning, he would go straight to where the captured men of Spiros are held, uncaging his wrath, and would drown his anger and sorrow around this time.

Tristan glance at his watch and called for a servant to clean up the mess, shortly after, the maid arrived looking like she just pulled the short straw with bloodshot eyes and pale face.

Who wouldn't?

If the usual Shin Keir is already scary for them, how much more in his current state?

The maid swiftly tidied the place, trying her best not to make any sound, restraining her movements and holding her breath.

Before long, to her horror, Shin moved, seemingly waking up. The maid trembled and shrank back, she grabbed the last empty bottle, bowed to Tristan and dashed out of the door.

Tristan: "...."

Shin groaned, slowly opening his eyes. Despite the dark circles under his eyes, ruffled hair and wrinkled clothing, it didn't slightly diminished his imposing and noble countenance.

"you're awake." Tristan subtly smiled.

Shin sat himself and just blankly stared at the ceiling.

"I'd spoke to one of our lawyers for Vertice Hotel, according to him the Zhi's refused our offer to reimburse the money for Yeri's banquet and pay her hospital fees, they said they really appreciate it but the Company is not to blame for unlawful crimes." Tristan said while tapping on his laptop. "your future Father-in-law is a hard nut to crack, eventhough they don't feel any grievance against the Company it also means he isn't someone that can be talk out with money, so what are you going to do in case he don't want you to be his son-in-law?"

Shin narrowed his eyes to Tristan, staring at him murderously.

"just saying." Tristan said, raising his hands.
