The receptionist intently stared at Yeri, thinking that Yeri might be an actress or famous model but dont seem to recall one and the way she address the CEO without formalities surprised her as well.

Could she be one of those rich women who just wanted to seduce their CEO? eversince the news of Shin Keir and Calin Wang's engagement went south, there's been an increase of female applicants plus some celebrities and rich heiresses claiming that they have an appointment with their CEO.

"do you have an appoinment with the CEO?" the receptionist asked.

"i don't."

"are you an applicant?"

"No."

"uhm, do you have an id?"

"No."

The receptionist smiled awkwardly trying to retain her professional conduct, dealing with rich women is really exhausting for her, at least the woman in front of her is well-mannered and didn't start cursing or boasting about her family background blah blah blah.

"uhm, what business you have with our CEO?"

"personal business." Yeri smiled.

'gah! why is this woman so hard to deal with, it would have been easy if she start making ruckus so she can just call the guards' the receptionist thought.

"oh, ...may i know what is your relationship with our CEO?"

Yeri paused, there's no way she will say his girlfriend! the receptionist would instantly think she's a liar and one of those wretched women who wanted to climb the jerk's bed.

In fact, it was the jerk who climbed her bed when she was sleeping!

Yeri's mouth twitched remembering the time she first met Shin.

"ahem! miss?" the receptionist disrupted Yeri's thoughts.

"oh...uhmm..childhood friend!" Yeri smiled sweetly.

The receptionist looked at her curiously and Yeri felt like her cover might be blown, she quickly change the focus to the bodyguards who were standing at a distance, "ah don't bother about them, there just your CEO's bodyguards assigned to me...its quite annoying actually."

It was then that the receptionist notice them, she initially thought there working with someone.

Eyes is quick to realize the situation and showed his badge to the receptionist, it would have been easy if there on uniform since the employees at the building recognize it yet they have to look like civilians when guarding the youngmiss.

"isn't there a lounge at the CEO's floor? can the youngmiss wait there?" eyes asked.

"uhm I-i will asked...please just a moment." the receptionist suddenly felt nervous and didnt know what to do.

If she have the CEO's bodyguards with her, it means she's someone important or close to the Keirs! but if she allowed them to go up without appointment or the higher-ups approval, won't she get in trouble?!

Yeri sighed helplessly, she doesnt want to act demanding but she's not use to waiting either. Should she just go back?

While she's contemplating about it, she caught sight of Tristan walking fast towards the elevator.

'incubus wait!' she thought and dashed towards him. "Brother Tristan! hey!"

Tristan felt a dazzling figure running from his peripheral vision and subconciously turned right, as expected his 'drop-dead gorgeous women antenna' didnt failed him but unfortunately its someone taken. "ah Sheri! what a surprised! did you and Shin finally decided to exposed your relationship?"

"shut-up!" Yeri quickly scolded him, "its not like that! i came here myself coz i can't contact him, where's the jerk?"

"heh...so you miss him? are you worried?" Tristan teasingly spoke.

"no i want to murder him now! anyways i told the front desk i'm the jerks childhood friend so can i go with you?"

"pfft- is that why you called me brother? hmmm i actually like that, alright Sheri princess lets go see our special childhood friend...his probably still on a meeting right now" Tristan patted Yeri's head and just waived at the receptionist.

The receptionist heaved a sighed of relief making a mental note of Yeri as the CEO and VP's childhood friend.

"you dont need your bodyguards up..." Tristan told Yeri and signaled the bodyguards to take a break. "wanna use the VIP elevator?"

"no need to be humble, i know you wanna be greeted by the female employees so lets take that elevator." Yeri nonchalantly replied.

"how- just give me a minute Sheri, I need to take this call." Tristan quickly moved to a corner to answer a clients call.

Yeri just nodded and stood near one of the elevators when she heard someone talked to her...

Lucia Hera graciously arrived at K.V empire and like usual, she warmly greeted the employees around and hearing them call her the company goddess made her day. Today she asked for a half-day due to slight fever but she actually woked up late after a sleepless night with a known politician she met 2 weeks ago.

She arrogantly stride towards the elevator swaying her hips left and right expecting to capture other employees attention, it might sound odd but Lucia likes crowded places since her beauty really stands out.

The K.V empires building1 elevators have 4 lined up and 4 across it, around lunch time theres lots of employees going in and out of the elevator so Lucia would usually stand in the middle of the hallway while male employees looked like fools trying to start a conversation with her.

Lucia is wearing a long neck body-fitted white dress enhancing her goddess image. However when she reached the elevators hallway, Lucia notice some employees mumbling and male staffs giggling while glancing over a corner.

"whats going on here?" she randomly asked someone.

"nah those hungry wolves are just happy to see a woman for the first time..." a female employee sneered, "see that woman standing in front of the 8th elevator at the right corner? she's the one, they said she's like a goddess!"

Lucia Hera moved closer and indeed saw a tall woman wearing a long-sleeve knee high black dress and mid-high yellow pump shoes.
