"You don't know your fiancee?" Yeri asked incredulously.

Yeri sneered internally, why is it so hard to be on the same page with the jerk?! if there not in a car now, she would have walk away already, plus the jerk have to use one of his sports car attracting passers by, it would be a headache in case someone will recognize her if she walk out.

"that's not my point!" Yeri scowled. 'whatever!'

Shin smiled enchantingly looking at the pouting goddess next to him, "I never agreed on that engagement, i don't even remember that woman's face nor recall meeting her before..." Shin explained.

"then why didn't you deny the rumored engagement before? you wouldn't be backlash now if you just cleared all this speculations." Yeri quickly asked.

"rumored engagement? there's such thing? i don't know babe, i never paid attention to any worthless things."

Yeri heaved a sigh of relief, so the jerk don't really care about Calin. At least she's able to confirm that and can be at ease now if she start executing her plan. A few days ago, she sneaked into her father's study to get informations about her brother and with levi's hacking skills, what Tristan told her before is true.

"is my baby jealous?" Shin asked in astounded expression.

Yeri's eyes squinted, did she just sounded jealous?! this narcissistic jerk! how the hell did he even thought about it?

"I'm not, im just curious" Yeri pursed her lips.

Shin looked smug as he pulled Yeri to his lap.

"what are you doing?!" Yeri yelled surprisingly.

"just a minute were stuck in a traffic anyway..." his voice husky and his hands firmly gripped Yeri's waist. "since my baby is jealous, I'll make sure to take care of this matter."

"you-" Yeri annoyingly glared at Shin, just how conceited could he get?! why does it sounds like she's the third party?

oh gosh! Yeri's face instantly burned red from shocked and embarrassment! for the first time the perfect her literally embarass herself and out of all people it's with the crazy jerk!

"your laughing at me aren't you?" Yeri asked feeling infuriated.

Shin who buried his face on the crook of her neck didn't budged yet Yeri can feel his shoulders shaking.

"Shin Keir!" Yeri angrily slapped Shin's shoulder.

It was only then that Shin laugh uncontrollably, he stared amusedly at her, he had never seen her blushed before and now she looked even more seductive and alluring despite her furious face.

"you're so beautiful..." Shin lovingly gaze at her and gently kiss her blushed cheeks.

"Of course I am! are you done?!" Yeri glared furiously.

"Then aren't we the perfect pair?". Shin replied with a wicked smirk. "alright, sorry i made my baby hungry...time to race!"

"I'm not hungry!" Yeri hissed at him as she mildly pushed Shin and went back to her seat.

"yes, yes your not..." Shin nodded feeling ecstatic, he have a feeling his making progress with Yeri. It seems there more closer than before, guess the saying 'baby steps' works.

While the couple were busy bickering... Calin Wang didn't left her house at all. The ongoing headlines about her failed engagement was like a double-edge sword to her.

Her popularity boosted just by being linked with Shin Keir as his fiancee, at present, she gained even more fans despite her failed engagement but she abhor the idea of people sympathizing and pitying her!

Why would she need sympathy from lowly and inferior beings?!

Since the banquet, Calin turned even more crude and wicked, she would snapped over minor mistakes and took it out on their servants.

"Dad! is it true?! why are you canceling my engagement with Shin!!!" Calin roared in fury as she barged into her father's study.

"what are you doing?! you already know the answer yourself! his a bastard!" Mr. Wang scowled, also upset of his daughter's sudden outburst.

"that's a lie! plus it's been a week now and Shin didn't say anything about our engagement, with the pressure from the media I'm sure he now realize his mistake and would push for our engagement." Calin reasoned.

"have you gone insane?! with his reputation going down the drain, why do you think the Keirs did not bother standing up for him? it's because his a fake! if you ended up marrying him and he gets thrown away, you will not only shame yourself but the rest of us!" mr.wang huffed fiercely as he hit the table.

Calin felt nervous seeing his father's display of outrage, he was never this furious to her before. However, his father's words makes sense, although she love Shin, she also can't bare to sacrifice her stature.

If Shin would step down as a CEO, she would also lose face and her friends will surely look down on her!

Calin bit her bottom lip as tears welled up her eyes."I don't know...i don't know anymore father, i just love him so much."

Mr.Wang felt his heart breaking seeing his beloved daughter's miserable state, it's all Shin Keir's fault!

He'll make sure to make him pay!
